It's really getting "remade" more than anything. Theres one town in the newest one, and you leave to do various quests and such, similar to Shining Soul 1/2. Most people are afraid they're going to ruing the game this way.

I have NEVER liked Mario. EVER. The games are horribly repetitive, and now they're friggen throwing him in every sport they can think of, trying to appeal to people who don't like platformers. "Hmm, a basketball game, I have 50 of these, but this one has Mario in it, and my friend says Mario kicks butt, I think I'll buy it."

So what, each game, to me brought something new to the table. Orcarina of Time is my favorite game of all time. Majoras Mask I didnt like very much, I thought that deku thing was ugly and the story-line seemed very kiddish.

I though the storyline as very mature :P, you got a kid, and a kid, one correcting the other mistake and conqoureing over the evil mask :P kinda strange but i think it worked out nicely. OoT IS my fav game of ALL TIME!!! but still Majoras mask had alot more gameplay and took longer to beat, and was alot more fun, in a way other than the fun OoT gave you :P

The story was incoherent at best, with far to many plot holes that were never even addressed. Now Square is making crap games to "fill in the holes", slapping "Final Fantasy 7" on them, and they're selling like hotcakes covered in crack.

The materia system...oh god, the materia system. You equiped little colorful orbs to get magic, and gimp over many of your stats at the same time! It was actually a better idea to NOT use materia at certain points in the game, because you wouldn't have screwed over HP and STR.

Vincent...yes, he gets a point himself. Why? Because, everybody, including Square, seem to have forgotten that he's HUMAN! He also got to star in one of the worst third-person shooters I've ever played.

I thought it was a very smooth game, it was 1998 and at that point in time you could not put alot of content in a 3d game, if there were a remake it would be probly better because they would fill in the holes that the guys back then HAD to leave out because of the tecnology.

Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing are alive and well if you don't know yet. As well as Command and Conquer, but they suck now that EA has their grubby little hands on the franchise.
