i think that archer but you have to buy arrows, but if you dont like to buy them you could play with a spear man.

there are no best char , it depends on ur gameplay and how u combine skills and etc. so my advice is to try to read on silkroad forums to get ideas and info. look at the builds and etc.

thank u , and btw i have an archer now (bower) , ice with the normal archer skills but my question is should i take all ice skills?and how the skills works now didn't understand them u can lvl the skill or wait for new skill , is that how it works?

the skillpoint system is pretty easy when u get it. U get skillpoint by killing MONATERS AND QUESTS and it depends on ur gap between mastery lvl and ur char lvl. If ur mastery lvl is high as ur char lvl then u will get more EXP than SKILLPOINT. If ur mastery lvl is lower u get more skillpoint. And the biggest lvl gap where u get most skillpoint is 9. ur mastery lvl have to be 9lvls lower than char lvl.
and there somthing called spfarming

no dont take all the ice skills, becuz there are nuke skills (magic) which is only useful for int-build (mage) and if u notice all the element skills are magic attacks, so if ur are str u should try to focus on fire, in my opinion becuz it powerup the physical damg.


ice is good for PvE its can make monster slow or freeze, but then again low damg, could be useful for PvP, but there ppl that is immune to ice( thx to the new alchemy system). Fire do the most damg and it have a burn effect and good for PvP. Lightning is good too not stronger than fire or weaker than ice, it got a effect that lower enemys dogde, so u can do more damg (critical). good for walking speed

ice= bad damg---good def skills
lightning= middle damg---- faster speed
fire= good damg----- just magic def

Bow: Ah, the mighty bow. A long range weapon which shoots arrows from far away. It is really good, but focuses more on magical attack than physical attack, though they are sorta equal.

Ice- This would be an incredibley good choice for the Bow. This is good because a Bow shoots from far away, and it shoots fast. Using Ice, you could easily freeze or at least frostbite the enemy from far away, and it'd be dead before it even gets to you! a really good choice if you ask me.

Fire- Fire would be a pretty good idea to, since the bow is pretty weak. Fire would be good since you could easily kill the enemy from far away, since your attacks would be so powerful. But, since I am a Bow User for the most part, this would be my LAST choice out of the three elements.

i forgot to ask which build are ur archer pure str, pure int or hybrid???

ur archer skills are good but focus on:

anti-devil
arrow combo
hawk ( skip the black hawk if u want, it up to u)
demon soul arrow
berserke arrow
strong bow
and the passive skill ( mind concentraion)

if u are a strenght archer i would suggest to get fire imbu

cold armor is good ( more def )
i would also get frost nova lvl 1 and book 2 lvl 1 ( it helps sometimes )
but its up to u try the skills and see what fits you, its ok to make mistakes the first time and screw up ur char. I did it several times XD

Im pure str (only spent 2 points on int , by accident but its fine and ty , but r u sure about the fire build??
and u didnt tell me should i lvl up the basic skills (archer skills bar , where shows on the top to lvl it) or not?

well since ur going for pure strenght, then archer skills are more important for you. becuz weapon skills are only skills who does physical damg. while the element skills do magic damg. and fire support physical damg. there is a skill called ''flame body'', that increase ur phy damg and the fire passive. Dont spend to much skill point on the element skills, becuz ur strenght alot of hp and have little mp. The archer skills will be ur main skills, the elements are just abit powerups.

replay?? u mean use it sametime?? yes and ur skills looks fine to me, but its ur choice. I mean play with ur skills and char cuz if everyone following the same build will be kinda boring :-/ dont you think?????

usually and normally everyones gunna say fire blader.. but fire blader can be countered by ice blader and ice blader can be countered by lightning blader.. so u see... the whole game is leveld out to were no class is best... it just depends on your gear and level... thats what sro is all based off of.
hopefully my little paragraph here helps you in your decision...

I just want to add, not only does gear and lvl help but so does SP, since if you don't have enough SP to get all your skills, well then it can hurt just as much as being low lvl, or having subpar gear.

I am a bit bias on the subject though I started my first char and didn't SP farm at all, and when I got up in lvls, I was lvling so slow since had to have a big gap to get enough sp for just some of the skills, so gave up that char. Then I did the SP farming at 16, got 75k SP and started to lvl with no gap, lvled so fast, and always had the skills for that lvl.

Not saying go out and farm 75k, that isn't for everyone. But it cant hurt to get 10-20k SP and lvl with a small gap the rest of the way. And that way your skills match pretty close to your lvl. Which helps in both PvP and in lvling.

How does the SP farming thing work anyway? Im thinking of doing it at 15

Ok, for SP farming here is what I did, it isn't the only way but if you are going for a lot of SP it is pretty much the best way. It is very boring, but if you want to not worry about SP later then it is the way to go, but thats just my take on it at least.

First I lvled to 16, but did not raise my skills over lvl 7. I trained Bow skill up to 7 and got the first two atks only. I trained my fire skill to 7 and max imbue for that skill lvl. 7 Because you want a 9lvl gap for max SP per kill, and gain little xp. It does not have to be fire skill, it can be whatever you plan to use, but make sure you at least get that skills imbue, I just happen to use fire.

At lvl 16 you move to the Bandit Stronghold, and go to the middle with the big bandit archer spawns, and basically that is your target for SP farming, the spawn is fast, very fast. Even killing at max speed it is hard to run out of them to kill.

As for weapon. At first I used just a normal bow, I couldn't afford a SoS bow, after a few days of SP farming I finally made enough for a SoS bow which really sped things up. Don't forget to use imbue pretty much constantly, it adds a lot more dmg, and killing fast is what it is all about.

When no one else was around, I was making about 500sp a hour without a xp ticket, with one was making 1k a hour. It took me basically a month to get 75k, but I was only SP farming while my ticket was up, 3hrs a day. As soon as the ticket ran off for the day I would go De-lvl so I was ready for the next day.

About the De-lvling, it is ok to lvl up while SP farming, but never put your skills over lvl 7. I lvled up to 20 the first time, and put my stat points up, since you don't lose them when you do delvl and you do get more dmg when you are back down to 16. But basically to delvl best way is to take everything off, store all your items, teleport to Donwhang, make that your spawn point. Then you go out east gate, and find a mob out there to kill you, and repeat a lot.... Best way is to get a friend who can rez you, is much faster.

This is pretty much the hardcore way of SP farming BTW, so it definitely is not for everyone. If you don't like delvling then well this definitely isn't the way to SP farm, you will basically have to delvl once for every I think it was 3k SP you get.

But you could always just lvl normally, just use a big gap 5-7 and just lvl up that way. Overall lvling after SP farming with no gap is very fast. People in my guild were making fun of me for SP farming so long, and how low lvl I still was after a month. A week after I was done SP farming and lvling, I was higher lvl then all of them, with knowledge I had enough SP to not have to worry about having a gap ever. So too each their own I guess.
