i tried registering, but it requires me to give a 'contact number' to register, and i put in my number every way i can think of, and it says it is given in the wrong format. what on earth am i supposed to put there?

Dont use any dashes or spaces, for example

999(areacode)999-9999 = Will not work
999 (areacode) 999 9999 = Will not work
999(areacode)9999999 = Will work

So if your number is (762)391-9872 you put 7623919872. That numbers an example by the way.
