Anyone play both?
Obviously since we all post here, we all play maple...but my friends (well, some of them) left to play FlyFF, and are forcing me to install it and give it a go.
As for NOW, Im 90% maple, 10% Flyff (only because Im excited to play a new game)
90% to maple because...I've played it since beta and the game client dosen't take me 4 hours+ to download...>_>

My advice; don't. It wasn't very good. But some people really like it.

FlyFF is ok and somewhat fun because it adds that "in their shoes" feeling as in sight and such. However moving takes a bit getting used to because we're all used to the 2-D Maple Story. You also need to make sure you know what class you're going to choose ahead of time, because like Maple theirs stats and all, and even low dex, etc. After I got a bit past my first job I got a bit lazy because unfortunately to get a new skill you have to be a certain level and use a prerequisite skill and get your skill level to a certain point. It also takes a long time to level compared to Maple. I quit cause I don't like to think much in games, there's not much fun in games if you think about every single step. But you get used to that after a bit. There's Mercenaries, Acrobats, Jesters, and such. Personally I like the Blade's weapons, but they're 2nd/3rd job which takes a while to get to. Have fun playing it.:D

MapleStory VS FlyFF
All decisons are based on my opinions.
Graphics: MapleStory is 2-D with cute little figures. It also makes it the only MMORPG that is 2-D. FlyFF is 3-D but its has lots of detail, including the ability to move the camera around.
Winner for Graphics:FlyFF
Game Play: MapleStory's controls are easy and simple to learn. FlyFF's controls are also easier, but you cannot change the keys.
Winner for GamePlay:MapleStory
Exp/Leveling: FlyFF's leveling is fairly easy at the lower levels, (E.G. level 1-50) but the monsters in FlyFF have lots of Hp. MapleStory's leveling is hard in the high levels due to the exp rate Leveling is slower.
Winner for Exp/Leveling: Draw
Overall: I perfer MapleStory because its fun. The community in FlyFF is worse than in MapleStory.

@Jakeybo, Its just like maplestory but 3D and...confusing
Well I would say maple because
-This is the maple forum
-FlyFF Takes too long just for 1st job
-FlyFF needs too much work to see other person's info
-FlyFF's community isn't very good
FlyFF because:
-You can fly (Air snowboard)
-Better graphics
-You can tp
-You can rock paper scizzors
-You can sit
-YOU CAN...Shake your butt at people
-You can make mobs
-You get drops more
To me, I played FlyFF for a few days and got HORRIBLY bored of it, mainly because it takes forever to lvl

I havn't played FlyFF but I was told it's a lot like Rose Online which I positively hate(can't beleive people pay for it now) so if it really is like it then I'm saying MapleStory is better.

I found Fly for Fun to be much more enjoyable, but why are you asking here? Most likely the answers you receive will be biased, should've just tried MMORPG Request.

haha.... i used to love playing flyff. I played it the hour it came out. I had an assist which kinda sucked cause you have to repeated cast resurrection to get the next skill (which means someone has to freaking die) And i remember there was that one really easy repeatable quest that so easy (fly for 10 second from one spot to another) and it gave me like 10% exp and 5k gold per trip

No, that is probably biased as well. Should have post this in a, more or less, neutral section.

This is where Im comfortable. I wanted the oppinion of people who play both. I was wondering if any of my maple friends did.
Anyway, I like Maple better, the controls for FlyFF are impossible after our simple 2D. But, I like it better in Maple. :D
I will play on and off. :P

I'd pick maplestory over flyff anyday :D. Maplestory is very addicting you can't get away from it too long. Flyff got me boring in about 2-3weeks never went back. 1-15 is like a 4-6 hour job in Flyff. Then comes lvl 15+ Uggh soo freaking boring >:(. But the thing is It's really easy to get money in Flyff, I use to get like 14-30 dices each day and thats like 40+mil. So it was pretty fun earning all that money.
