i think lvl 30+ is high or the grind probaly starts there (i think). My char is only lvl 27 and i get like 4-6 exp from per monster. I have 3 lvl gap between my lvl and mastery lvl. Doing quests can really help.

I'm on a wireless connection here... which generally means connection is slower, but I'm not having any problems with lag.
Only jaultiness I get is when I turn it onto high graphics.

Yup, is one of the game I played the most. BUT, why do u think so many ppl quit? Because of BOTTER BOTTER BOTTER now ppl are just insane, they go and farm like 20k sp, if u play that game u know what im talking bout. Then at high lvl, good game for u man, u lose for sure no matter how well u upgraded ur skills. The game really should have a wiped out and new guard systems. Is true that some ppl took alot of time, but most of them are just botter.

I did a lvl 50-ish toon hybrid, glaive till I'd realized (and quitted) about some of the fatal flaws in iSRO. Let's start with the positives:-
1. Well thought & designed character mechanics. 2 stats = less micro management. And near 'classless'. Which is a definite good break from any other titles out there.
2. The same applies to skills. If you got the patience to farm for both gold (for resets) and sp, you're pretty much limitless to tailor and build the kind of chars you want.
3. The simplest thing would be char movement speed. One of the fastest at that compared to others...
4. Gears are surprisingly easy and anyone won't be deprived (unless you're Paris Hilton at it) of upgrades after levels. Thanks to the players' numbers and how that affects supply vs. demand ratios for the game economy.
But now I'll proceed to be bluntly frank about the negatives:-
1. Distributed xp partying is the ultimately terrible oxymoron. A player is basically rewarded bonus xp for NO teamwork and coordination whatsoever. And anyone scores the same 10% regardless if they're ALL OVER THE MAP and that my friends is why botters are being fed with a silver spoon for what they do.
2. Whoever said that shared xp partying in iSRO makes sense is definitely without (or lacking) proper exposures to other titles of the same ilk. The level diffs xp penalty to party limit diffs is one of the most dysfunctionally done deal I've ever seen. Which is why 90% of iSRO players 'solo grind' BECAUSE there is LITERALLY ZERO USE for shared xp partying. And for that, there goes yet another (non)point for grouping benefits.
3. I don't see any real rewards vs. risks gains for players when it comes to PvP. Cape fights are mostly done to test out one hits or finishing skills. Guild wars are reduced to only gold prizes (a joke that's not even funny for its amounts, since it'll be close to near worthless) and NO territorial, economic, social and fame rewards for guilds. What kids would do with that is fight, capture a vid footage of it and proceed to crap-talk the shit off each other or brag in forums.
4. The only supporting point to no.3 would be jobs. And while it IS a good concept, hunters are probably the most thankless of the bunch. Thieves basically gets shit for their efforts and pains to be endured while traders would either get fleeced off non-guildie hunters (9 out of 10 times, they'll end up defending on their own anyway..) but possibly the best option for job with the most moolah of the 3.
So the bottomline is, iSRO DOES HAVE (arguably) one the best solo game mechanics around for a f2p title (can't say the same about its quests though, the crappiest FedEx types anyone can bear..) but pitifully, it fails craptacularly if there's anything 'massively multiplayer' elements left in it. The general gameplan is easy; You solo-grind in distributed xp party mode, you sp farm, gain shitloads of sealed items by getting rich and gain the max cap for God knows what? So technically it's an overglorified CRPG race to level & to score the uber gears with a 'massively multiplayer' support that you'll get would be the HUGE number of AFK players' stalls. NO teamwork, NO point of glory in PvP, NO point period for jobs and that leaves what? I think a lot of us can handle grind, but to solo at that is akin to a pointless cause in any online game.
If Joymax gets around to figure that out (if ever), I dare say that the older batches of players WILL come back...but NOT IF they have to solo-grind the whole deal all over again regardless if Euro and Arabs gets added soon enough.
