Topic, you think it is getting a bit out of hand on MS? Every time I play, I see at least 3 or 4 people botting/hacking. I have not seen anything done about it either, yet. You all see as much hackers as I do, or do I just have bad luck? It makes me want to stop playing, putting time into it when people are doing more, in less time, not even being there.

just forget about hackers. i see them all the time, like literally all the time. just think to yourself.. how are they going to have the enjoyment of enjoying hard earned work. its kind of like real life, if you find an easy way out, it will only take you so far, but if you do it the hard working and right way, it will definately be worth it in the end.:)

You should see Khaini, (unless your already there.) It has ALOT of hackers. Everyday I see 1~3 hackers a day. For instance, I just saw one about 2 hours ago, at Horny Mush Tree. Someone was vaccing under the map! So I couldn't report him. T_T

yeah, the more u hack the more boredom you get :)

I want to the burning land and there I saw not 4,but 5 hackers!
I cced and i found a diffrent hacker each time.
Not to mention the 2 hackers I saw in the toy factory.
This was all on Bera BTW.:eek:

Well they don't bother me that much. If I see one I'd report and switch chanell. If there are too many, I'd loot some of them and steal their kills until they CC unless they're botting. Sometimes I even befriend hackers by accident. Like this one guy I reported him and he just kept vaccing. So I'm like "don't you care that I'm watching you vac?" and he just said "nah w/e" and then we started a convo and he asked me what % I was so I said I was 95% (cuz I was) and he let me kill all his monsters that he vacced. I knwo you can get reported and maybe banned for looting vaccers' monsters but ah well.

yeah theres a lota hackers cuase some people use mega phones to advertise hacks

Now days nobody likes to do hard wwork , people try out shortcuts rather than long cuts .

Just forget about hackers when you see one just report and then cc like i do. :)

Hmm hackers are everywhere -.-' but when i see a hacker i ignore them..they'll get banned sooner or later :D

I just think, sooner or later they're going to get banned and all the time they spent would be wasted and for nothing.
Why do i think this? Simply because if hackers really got away with it most of the time we'd see many hackers at stupidly high levels or even above tigers level. But we don't, simple reason, they eventually get caught. Look at the suspended list, 100's of people over periods of 2 months are banned.

On Mapleglobal.com go to User abuse under the support section, there's links at the bottom in the form of dates click on one and it'll show you who was banned on which server for those dates.

Well.. I dont hack but.. While in Bera I was talking to this hacker and he said "We hack because Maple Story is the f****** hardest game to lvl ever!" What he says is kinda true, lvling is really hard in maple story. But the harder the better?

Im started MS today. I use a widescreen monitor - needless to say the image is stretched in fullscreen.

I searched google for a way to make the game windowed mode. I found one.

If I use this Windowed mode is it classed as a hack? CAN I BE BANNED? is the main question. I don't hack, I hate hackers, and I feel I need to use this Windowed mode to get the best gaming experience.

Please can anyone give a difinitive answer :D ?

I even drew up a 4:3 Grid so I can carefully resize the game in the center of the screen for maximum 4:3 exposure on my 16:10 Screen :O

its not really classed as hacking but its disallowed by wizet because it makes hacking easier

regardless alot of people use it and you can't get banned for using because only you can see your screen... i tend to use for the same reason,that and i like to multi task

Well, I'm fairly new to the game, and I was at Slime Tree II today and the monsters kept gravitating towards the edge of the screen. They were like flying/sliding there, but thats all they did, no one was fighting them, and no one was doing anything else to them, they were just bunched up in that corner and moving/bouncing around but never leaving the corner. So I came up to them and killed them, and after doing so more just came.

Idk if thats hacking or is it just lag?

that was a vac hack and the hacker was probably off screen or got knocked down

who cares about hackers, just leave them alone, they're worthless hopeless losers who can't level..

I hate people who advertise for hacks in the mega phone. I see hackers around bera and just report them they get banned eventually.

i don't think i have ever seen hackers in Windia, but i get the feeling the mages that always ks me are bots...

They're all using this newbie engine called Templar. GameGuard really needs to patch it some day <_<
