I was playing the jp version of Granado Espada for a while, and due to unexpected circumstances, it was uninstalled from my comp.

so i reinstalled the game on my pc, and i followed all the steps for the first time i installed it (changed language etc etc..)

now this error message pops up when i launch the client. when i click ok or cancel, the game takes a while to load, and it takes me to the server list.

However, when i ut in my screenname/password and try to logon to the server, the client closes.

any ideas? for some reason, its asking me for a datatable_maptype.xml file in he xml folder of the ge folder. however, i dont see an xml folder in my ge folder, and neither does my friend, whom can logon just fine.

i would say, there is something missing ^^

reinstall your GE completely, should solve the prob

still get the same error.

for Korean GE.. there's no such file/directory.. i think Japan also same. it's an extract file from xml.* (which is 9MB if i'm right)

u can either redownload the whole client or ask Japan GE send u a xml.* file. replace the corrupt 1.

this file "exists"..but its packed in a ipf (password protected PZip)
this error means, even after reinstalling..that your Download is damaged! .. CRC error i would say..
if you cant get fast download from the original server,i can offer you download of the client from my privat root-serv..should work for you with ~600kBps..
so..other solution isnt known for me..looks really like the download is damaged..sry

so choose what you want ;) if the xml isnt working, you can still dl the whole client new

yeah...yours is 3.5. mine is 3.1. my friend's is 3.8.

and when he sent me his, i no longer get the message....it just flat out crashes before it starts XD

try out my version? ;)

i think,i'll makeup a torrent for the .jp GE client..a lot of ppls want the client but dont get it fast enough XD (not all..but a lot)
