I have downloaded maple story and when I go to start it up a window pops up and says "program failed to start beacuse Gr2d is not found"

can anyone help me with this problem and what is Gr2d?

Re-download?

3 things you can try
1. update your video drivers
2. install the latest version of direct x
3. search on google for "Maplestory Gr2D is not found error"

Two more things to try:
1. Download DirectX again:

2. Try:
Properties-->Settings-->Advance-->Troubleshoot--> Adjust Hardware Accleration

Sounds like something to do with gameguard was tinkered with...did you get it off the official site?

Nothing with gameguard, this error comes up when maple cannot init the graphic. Assuming that you use win XP install the lastest directX and the newest version of youre graphic driver.

maybe your computer doesn't have the requirements to play maple story.
