Is it not possible to make friends inside the game, or must you have preexisting friends on a forum join the game with you?

Its rather difficult for certain people to make friends in game, especially with a community as immature as Maple's.

Now then, I may add you, but my BL is full last I checked, and everybody on it is at least semi-active.

I also don't remember too many onrpgers from broa anyway.
You could always get buddies from party quests and just training. In two weeks of leveling my mage, I've made around 10 buddies doing just that (in the emptiest server, Bellocan, too).
Anyways, good luck getting buddies. Helping people and pq are VERY good for making buddies.

but alot of people in mmorpgs lie/backstab so its good to have members of a forum you visit and share common interests in on your buddy list.

Hahaha, go talk to people enough on Maple Story and you'll get the friends you want. They're out there.. unless everyday non-stop you are training, then of course you'd never find friends.

The point is, if you just open yourself up, you will find the friends. You could have a friend but not trust them, though it's not a very good thing. But hey! Nobody told you to go out and give your life out to a complete stranger. Even forum members sometimes can't be trusted.
