all about grinding ... lvled till 24 and quitted ... there are many more functions, like the steam engine and stuff, but guess you got to endure the grind till higher lvls ... and theres the country VS country pvp ... but once again, i think you should be around lvl 40 be4 thinking about participating ~

I'm currently playing the Japanese version level 25 Berserker and level 16 paladin on Technical Nation, so far it's an O.K. game. Highest level players are at around level 70-80 atm. Might be awesome or bad depending on how fun the RvR and PvP is.
Anyway, it's mainly a grind for levels. There are quests in the game which are pretty much the same as the ones you find in WoW, e.g. Kill ## number of mobs, collect ## number of items, kill this person etc. Experience from quests are bad, items can be ok but usually bad.
Equipment doesn't really have much variation. Though I do like the somewhat random stats that can be generated on equips, just wish there was more of a variety.
Some equips have a slot which allows you to put steam cores inside. These will provide you with a new skill that must be activated using steam (think mana, although the game has mana as well). Different steam cores give different abilities. I can't read japanese so I don't know what they do mostly.
Item upgrading works same as most games. +1-3 is 100% success then from there on you can fail and failure sets it back a couple levels. Only Poms (small halfling-like race) have the ability to craft weapons and armor and it's a pretty standard crafting system too.
Only boss I've encountered so far was a level 50 insect boss which is supposed to be designed for a party of level 20-30 players.
You start off with a small personal pet. It can be either an attacking pet, healing pet or theiving pet which steals money off monsters while you're busy attacking. Personal pet doesn't really have much of an impact on performance at all, however some classes are able to summon fighting pets and I think the Rogue class gets to tame some monsters too. These pets do have more of an impact on fights.
Walking around is time consuming, because you run relatively slow without speed buffs/equips and the maps are large, but there are vehicles you can use ingame. For vehicles you have a steam tractor at level 20 (but you need to kill the boss) and a Steam Rider at level 50 (Think of what a Mechwalker looks like).
There is a guild system but I haven't experienced it, but I'm assuming it's pretty standard.
As for graphics, it is quite pretty. Weapons seem to glow ALOT, more than they should.
Anyway I think that sums it up.

Steam engine? Do you mean this uses the Source engine? I can't read Chinese/Japanese, can you post links to some screens so I can see the game in action?

NO, its called the Steam engine. From what I been reading, its engine is based on the "Gas Powered" engine that Dungeon Siege uses. Like I said though....BASED off of.....
