sup i personally dont like savage blow at the sametime i like bandits there kool to me i was planning on makeing a bandit with no savage blow,yes i know i know he would be weak but i dont care i like speed more anyways i just dont like the way savage blow looks so im wondering if i train him all the way to lets say lvl80 (im just saying!! if i got there) would i still need savage blow or can i use my 3rd job skills then.and do me a faver dont leave unnescary comments cause i dont need your stupid irritating apenion

umm IF and thats a big if. if you got to level 80 on double stab alone, you would be able to max assulter or thieves and be ok but getting to level 80 with savage is hard enough.

oh and wtf dont you like about damage appearing six times above the monster. (and noobs going OMG LEET DAMAGEE)

going to lvl 80 with only dubble stab.
if you do that with out hacks ill bake a cake.
man that going to b boring and slow.
at lvl 80 you could b training with assulter and thieves.
but savagle blow is still used allot.
lvl 80+ you get 1000 in the savageblow.
and then 6 times 1000k is like 6000k in one hit.
dubble stab aint that strong by then.

if your rly rly serieus bout no savage blow.
then atleast go godly low dex to do atleast some damage.

A bandit without Savage Blow is probably one of the most absurd ideas I've ever heard. Skipping a primary attack skill just because you don't like it's looks is just ridiculous. You might as well make a warrior without power strike, a cleric without heal, a fire wizard without fire arrow, a hermit without Lucky 7. Is it really worth being THAT much weaker? It's one thing if you're doing a special build to test theories and damages of skills, or have a very specific reason for doing what you are, but I cannot see anything to prove or gain by skipping SB. Everyone will mock you, and you won't have anything to say in you're defense. So you tell them you don't like the looks of SB. They'll just ask why the hell you made a bandit in the first place. What skills will you max with the saved SP? Steal? Disorder? Absolutely wonderful.

Savage Blow is the staple attack move of the bandit. It does twice the damage of Double Stab in less than twice the amount of time, applying that damage with high stability. It's physical range of attack is also much greater than double stab, both horizontally and vertically.

SB is the only way you'll keep up with other second job classes. Found a zombie channel for training? Good luck keeping it. Even a cleric 10 levels below you could KS you out rather easily.

As for third job...
Assaulter will not replace SB. It's slower, unstable, limits movement, and forces you to get hit more on monsters.

Band of Thieves will not replace SB. While it's total mob damage is potentially higher, training exclusively with this skill on full size mobs will be costly.

For damage, you'd be better off just skipping Double Stab and just using claws and L7 until third job. But why not just make a hermit? You said you like speed more, and bandits and assassins both have the same speed bonus from haste. Hermits actually get even faster with Flash Jump in the end.

You'd never make it to third job or survive beyond skipping SB unless you hack. As such, nobody would respect you. Ever.

Have you used maxed savage blow with booster? I don't see how it looks so bad. If you don't like savage blow then don't play a bandit unless you're stopping before level 30. Like Kevin said it's like a sin without lucky seven.

Don't make a bandit then, go for Dagger Warrior.

They use Power Strike and Slash Blast, only with strength daggers.

Savage Blow is the only flashy skill you get until your become level 70, might as well take advantage of it...

Well, after level 25, Magicians can't use maces anymore so they get stuck :(

thing is i like the way str daggers look can make assassin with str right that would be bad so thatz why i wanted to be a bandit most of all there str weapons look really kool to me in my own apenion:p

no way i did'nt quit my warrior i still play him just to keep my interest in maple, i play other characters so i wont get bored of maple its a good idea you know and warriors all was rule but thatz for another thread heheheXD
