ugh, video game relationships.... most of them are just scams, some, unfortunately, are real.

I take these very seriously. The big problem is that you can never be 100% sure who's on the other keyboard. It may be some girl/guy your age who has fallen deeply in love with you, but there's also the chance that it's some pedophile getting a kick out of some young person, hoping to turn it into a serious sexual relationship.


I may seem like I'm overreacting but, sadly, this does happen quite often.



My vote is: Don't bother trying it online, stick with someone you can see.
You can pretend if you want, but you may unintentionally end up hurting the person on the other side if they aren't pretending.



Also, one of my old guild members may bring up me and Draearose, but she's ACTUALLY my girlfriend, we live together.

In any relationship, what a person sees physically is important but not as important as what they feel emotionally with that other person. That mental, emtional, psychological connection you have with someone is so much more powerful. Hence, I can understand how people can "meet" online and strike up a long-forever lasting relationship.
