Ok, so here is the deal. I am thinking of quitting my page(Pwni) lvl 36 for when summer time comes around. I am getting nowhere with the character and i seem to find it somewhat boring now..:eek: I'm asking you for your opinion on a new character i could start for the summer. I was thinking of Xbow, but the mastery would be a pain in the butt for me :mad: just like my warrior. Maybe something that would level up fast and do a good amount of damage.

well, if he doesnt like mastery...then the only other option is a mage.

If you want good damage without mastery, probably a Sin or a Fire wiz. Both have built-in mastery. For fast leveling, go with a wiz. Lit for even faster leveling, though not as much damage.

i would feel bad for a sin w/o mastery...theyre screwed -_-
they would go poor as well.
a MAGE is the ONLY class where mastery isnt necessary.

umm i would go with a mage definitely. you will do a good amount of damage for quite sometime without having to add any sp to any mastery skill.

but umm just choose the job you will have the most fun playing. the power is yours

yeah try a lit mage for the aoe skill or cleric for aoe heal on undead monsters..also as a cleric you also never really have to buy pots as you have heal

Clerics I've heard are cool at self healing, but I've heard you'd be buying MP pots like nobody's business. Perhaps they're wrong, but I'm thinking of making my ALT into one.

if you want something good with nice damage,try an lit mage
ofcourse,the damage is not much at the beginning but that will pass over when you level :)

I'd say you should make an Ice/Light mage they're really fun, Well I enjoyed mine and I bet you would too hah. :)

People only use Steal coz of PQ, otherwise it isn't used. But bandits have awesome skills, so if your gunna start a new character i recommend bandit or cleric.

Clerics do NOT need MP potions after maxing out Mp eater, and with the help of mobs itll be kind of hard to lose all your mp :). Thats one of the few reasons clerics are loved. So add MP eater with a mob spell and you've got an almost unlimited amount of MP. Holy arrow is nice too :D Plus they also have a LOT of supportive spells like Bless, Invincible and the oh so awesome Holy Symbol (1.2x exp if im not correct). If your not a partygoer then bandits are the way to go.

Bandits are a really fun class due to the wide variety of skills that other classes lack. Just in the 1st job you get 3 nice skills (Althought Disorder isn't a recommended skill to max...or use for that matter) , then Haste, Steal Savage Blow in the 2nd job. Bandits with steal are common now due to the Ludibrium party quest being added to the game. Then with 3rd job you get Assaulter, Band of Theives and Meso Explosion which are all very cool skills :).

Ice Mage! Can do great with mobs, and they level fast.

Alrighty, having my ALT as a Cleric sounds like the perfect match. Since my other is a LUK Bandit.

Both are Tight professions by the way Grat. But you can choose whatever you see fit.

I think fire mage would be good, they dont need mastery and are strong.

Personally i think Clerics are nice and I dont use that many MP pots. But i have always had a thing for Ice Mages. I think any of these would be cool.
