Maybe I was just spoiled by GamingForce, but I think we need custom titles. We could still have a number of stars or something, but letting users set their own titles would be entertaining. With guidelines, of course (character limits or something so it wouldn't stretch the page, etc.).

Just "Honorary Member" and "Star Member" and etc. seem kinda bland.

This could bring a lot of problems.. Especially by advertising on the titles, breaking the rules with the titles like flaming others on it, or even putting up inappropiate things on it.

i agree with the suggestion...if mods and admins are willing to moderate it to make sure its appropriate.
and that you have to have a certain amount of posts in order to have a custom title...without spamming of course.

I think Custom Titles should be implimented. Then people wouldnt spam and shit to get the next title level. Annoys the crap outta me.

I think the reputation thing would work with custom titles, if you get good reputation you win a custom title!

To prevent advertising they could simply censor "http","www",".com, nu, se, dk, no ,jp, kr, co, fi, de, lt". Though, adding them to the filter would apply to posts too.. -.- But I'm sure they will think of something.

We are not going to put a money system in where you get money to buy custom titles, this would just encourage more spamming which is not what we want. Titles will most likely be given if your reputation is good; this is not a promise or anything added just an idea.
