I was just wondering which game you guys preffered, Enemy Territoy or War Rock.

enemy territory i like historical fps games not current ones it just doesn't seem fun

Any other opinions? And thanks for your input.

yea et ftw its awesome game its not in beta or w/e warrock is et seems to have lots of custom maps and amazing mods warrock cool and all but i favor et

i would probaly say war rock because it has better graphics and u can use tanks and stuff. =)

there both really fun games. but honestly ET kept me entertained longer than warrock. try and both out and have some fun :D

Don't even bother with warrock. Just get battlefield 1942. It's like the same thing. If you don't like the ww2 era then there are plenty of mods to make it more modern. You could also get bf2 if you have the money. ET is definately worth playing though. You can get bf1942 with all expansions and battlefield vietnam for like $20 now.

battlefield 1942 is the first in the series but still so amusing :). But francly, you still need a descent pc to run it :s never understood why it is so 'requiring' to be such an old game, just know this, the system specs are lying ... badly

I'd choose Enemy Territory, as I think WarRock is lame.
Then again, I have BF2, so there is absolutely no reason to play WarRock. :)

If you want a free Battlefield with some gameplay taken from CS with considerably lower specs, play Warrock.
If you want something that feels surprisingly similar to most other commercial WW2 FPS's out there, only it's free, play Enemy Territory.


Better yet, since they're both free, try them both yourself. Your only bound to get stupid biased responses on here anyways.

its very hard to choose but i think id say et cuz the gameplay is much fasterpaced and there are lots of good mods and costum maps and stuff but thx to sum thing gone rong in the recentest patch has left the punkbuster thing unupdated so it takes a really long time to download stuf to there and sumtimes it skips a download and just keeps goin on and on, and it has the campain thing i think warrock needs to put a campain the in if they did WR wuld be totally awesome:D

ET makes me LOL when you can just play pirate COD and COD2 servers. and you can also play LEGIT RTCW with any Randomly generated key.

You could, but both those games are much larger to download, and some people don't feel like waiting for them. That, and some don't like the bad after taste pirated software leaves, if you catch my drift. :)

Simply because it's a really great game and it's still getting developed so it gets better and better ^^

ET is also a good game, I think you should really try both.
