Playing on a private server, but still paying the monthly fee. Not hosting a private server, just playing on one, or playing at a LAN party with friends who also pay the monthly fee. Feel free to lock this topic if you feel necessary.

Basicly, or simply kept your subscription fee going when you don't play on normal servers.

Well private servers are against the ToA, but who knows.

I just started the game... and I tried a private server for like... 10 minutes... and I got to lvl 89... and I totally lost hope in the "not paying for the game".
Seriously... just pay the 20 a month... its worth it.

Because 4 man raids on Onyxia at LANs (Making it a challenge if course) Is fun? Having races from Gadgetzan to Auderbine at 500% speed. Building houses then getting somebody to judge who made the best house with GM skills. Summon monsters then watch them kill your other friends summon. Exploring the unfinished areas of Burning Crusade. And my personal favourite, summoning thousands of stormwind guards againt thousands of orgrimmar grunts, join a side, then battle it out against the thousands of enemies.

I really couldn't care less about playing with people you don't know on private servers. But you can have a tonne of fun with friends at LAN parties with GM powers.

Seriously... just pay the 20 a month... its worth it.

And when did I say that I don't play normal servers? I'm asking if it is against the terms and agreements to play on private servers but still pay the monthly fee. Have you never heard of a thing called READING?

Outlined the keypoints seeing as you seem to have a short attention span when it comes to reading...

Anything relating to the emulation of servers are against the ToA. So if Blizzard were to find out, you'd be banned.

No loopholes eh? Oh well :p.

It's not as if I use them often. Only if I'm hell bored with friends. :D

Private Servers are illegal to the ToS, no if ands or buts.

You bumped a topic which hasn't been replied to for a week just to repeat what Rammstein has already said?
