I didnt play maple story before and europe maple story started 2nd beta test.
Can some1 tell me what class is the fastest to lvl?

since you've just begun playing,i suggest you make a warrior
they're quite fast levelers in the beginning :3

warriors are so hard to lvl later on... god they use massive pots and all that.. i suggest you make an archer/sin or a mage. warriors are like... err.. pots pots pots :(

if this is your first char go with a warrior.

if this is your 2+ char go with mage.

Do you know if old characters will be wiped? Also to answer your question, I would go with an assassin. In 1st job they are 2nd fastest leveling class besides magicians, and in 2nd job they are really fast as well.

I read on mapletip forums what best class at lvl 70+ is archer.
So i started archer and atm i am lvl 23.
So far i like my choise, no need to spam hp or mp potions, dmg is very good and i hunt non-stop.

No offense, but good luck getting to 70! -_- Maple Story is a grindfest...it's saddening. It sucks too cuz every other aspect of the game is great! The community is good, the weapons and armor look pretty cool, the controls are fluid and not too hard to learn, etc. The game is great, it's just that I can't stand grind, so I quit. If you have a lot of time on your hands, then go ahead and play, but I wouldn't suggest MapleStory if you're constantly busy.

Wizet said that? Don't expect much, they said the same thing when Global was in Beta, and our chars were deleted along with the whole Beta server.

ewww archers.... leveling them up before lvl 30 pissed me off with its inconsistency. Mage is annoying to level in the first 12 levels if your not leeching but after that, they level really fast

Go try to make a warrior or a thief becuase at the beggining warriors are easy to lvl but later on they are so hard and need massive amounts of pots thiefs are easy to lvl from thief and assasin but the bad thing about a thief is all the expensive stars and need many pots so u can do attacks or ur going to have to throw 1 star at a time but thief is worth it well pick what u want to be its ur choice
