im wondering is it true that Xbowman should buy the equipment wif +dex and +str and bowman should by eq wif +dex only or am i wrong??

Hmmm... From what I know about bowman, your right. But of course, it's not necessary for you to buy the +Str and +Dex equipment. But I think that generally its better for Xbowman to have that.

bowmans basically need dex more then str it's not recommended to get a str and dex bow or crossbow but you can get it IF you want

Both should get more DEX because DEX is more beneficial to both bowman and xbowman attack than STR. Relying on STR boosts from equips to wear equips is risky, unless you plan on wearing that one equipment for a long time.

if u plan ur equipment out correctly relying on str boosts via clothes is handy and saves precious dex ap.

But instead of planning out needs in armor, you can just add points into STR for the same boost. Instead of getting +4 STR from an equipment, and add 4 more points to DEX, you could just get +4 DEX from an equipment and add 4 more points to STR for the same ending attack.

Example:
Red Kismet: +5 STR
Blue Kismet +5 DEX

Level 50 with Red Kismet:
STR: 55(+5) 60
DEX: 190 (+0)= 190

Level 50 with Blue Kismet
STR: 60(+0)=60
DEX: 185 (+5)= 190

Ultimately, the stats end up the same, but afterwards, if you're not planning to wear that equipment for future levels, you might be a littls short on stats. For example, I would rather scroll a cape for DEX than STR because if I wanted to switch to a more def/magic def/speed cape, with a little less STR, if I have too little STR for the next equips, I would have to wait a level.

Example:
Bow requires 80 STR
Stats: STR: 70(+10)
DEX: 355

Bow requires 80 STR
Stats: STR: 80
DEX: 345(+10)

You end up with the same final STR and DEX, but you cannot switch to a better cape, even with 1 less STR (for example, a 9 STR, 10 speed cape, from your 10 STR cape) without waiting another level to equip your bow again. This is quite the hassle, and just having the dex is more efficient. You can switch to a 9 DEX, 10 speed cape from a 10 DEX cape without unequipping your bow and just have 1 less DEX than before.
Ultimately, DEX is more reliable to have.
Sure, at high levels, you could switch to STR equipments, when there's no further equipments to get and you'll keep those equipments forever (example, level 90 armor/bow), for the sake of adding points to your DEX, but it doesn't really matter, when you could use those +STR upgrades for DEX.
