Has anyone ever seen a guy or girl that's just totally hooked to this game? from what i've seen so far i haven't seen any people that live and breathe off this game as if it was their lungs. I remember when i was playing maple story, there were a hell of a lot of obsessors. i mean people get to lv 70 in just a few weeks (leveling up in the 6x range takes about 8-9 hours per level i think). telling people that they "have no life" was very common in MS forums. i so far have not seen any obsessors, tell me if you have and why you think less people get obsessed other this game.

Welll..... I think there just in denial... People that are level 50+ kinda are obsessive with the game... if not obsessive with a good self control....

Well, denial may be the reason...or maybe its just harder to get really hooked onto this game than MS.

He ended up playing the game for over 18 hours, straight (we took turns, then I fell asleep for quite a while (he didn't bother to wake me up, either), then I woke up and we took turns again).

If you played gunz for the first half year before hacking and all thoes problems became really bad there was a ton of people that lived off this game.

When the servers were down or completely full, people would go on the forums and constnatly spam about how pissed off they were they couldn't play (and it wasn't just like they were slightly irritated, they were really mad). But most of thoes people have quit along with most of the "super pros" as I call them, I believe they moved back to K-gunz though.

If IgunZ ever gets back up on its feet I'm sure they'll come back. However I don't see that happening any time soon since this game will have been out for a year by the end of this month and hsan't changed much since, mostly they just improved the connections since it connects differently than K-GunZ, threw the ruins map and in the equip screen the little + or - numbers showing what the armors add and take away from your stats.

There haven't been any real changes that would help prepare for the final version.

and wow Whist i never knew all that stuff happened back then (hurray for playing gunz for only 19 days). guess i missed it all and all the obsessors are over in kGunZ o.O

oh and i have a question. IGunZ is only the beta version right now, and i'm curious as to whether or not when the real version comes out if our accounts are going to be deleted (just as how when the real version of MS was released, the beta version was gone, and so were all the beta accounts)

Well there is allmost no legit way of getting to 70 or even 50 in a couple weeks unless you either swap or hack swap.Ive been playing for about a year now and still have fun with gunz.

Anyhoo, I always wonder how many of the people who are really high level got there by swapping . . .Just because half of the Expert Channel rooms are swappers . . .x_x I've never really seen anyone who was really obsessive about the game though. Sure, I've seen some really good people, but they never seemed to be the kind of people who always played the game. Some people are just naturally good at the game. *Shrugs* Like Whist said, there were alot of people who lived off the game during the beggining. The transition to the better anti-hacking system was hell. x_x No doubt it scared a bunch of people off, or just ruined it for them. Still, there are definetly some people who live for it, as it takes all kinds to run a game. You just gotta look hard for 'em, and you'll find them. =3

I play the game alot, but I wouldn't say I'm extremely crazy about it. *Shrugs* Maybe it's because I've been playing it for awhile, maybe not. It's a good game, but it's not the kind of game I dedicate my entire self to.

and i must edit your quote about swappers. i'd say it's more like 70% xDDDDD. whenever i come out of a room i see at least 1 guy going "swapping, lv (whatever level) must be lv (whatever level)+!!!" and he spams it at least 100 times and it always comes to the point where some people go "STFU NOOB" and "OMFG STOP SPAMMING NOOB" etc etc. then after that guy gets shut up ANOTHER guy coems in and spams about swapping. The only way I would become an obsessor again; is if I-GunZ opened up their forums, and let me post my crosshairs again. I used to be crazy with the GunZ forum. Every where I went that had a computer; I would check out the forums...

I'm not sure if this is really counts as an obsessor, but I would always try to make the perfect crosshairs, all easy to use with environments and stuff. I even made crosshairs for clans... Right when I started making crosshairs for clans; thats when I-GunZ went down for about a month, and the forum was getting all pillaged and crap.

Then I-GunZ came back online without notice, and there were only 100-200 people on the servers. This is when I became crazy obsessed with it; learning new things, meeting newer people. You know, the usual...

I just find it stupid, how everyones glitching, K-Style isn't that fun to look at. Sure B-Flying is sweet, but its the Male side of it that looks stupid. Does no one agree? Its not even fun anymore, its depressing to see an SS/RS/What ever... doing crazy things with rockets and owning everyone. Its like a hack, MAIET needs to fix that.
