Every time I enter a server it downloads stuff then tells me that I'm missing pak(.pk3) files. I can't play the game. Why is this happening?

you probably just have to re-install. If that doesn't work download the game from another mirror(website/server)

I redownloaded it and installed it, and patched it. I have a different problem now...I start up the game and it stops...I see half of the screen that says "True Combat: Elite. It just gets stuck there. I tried reinstalling and patching it but it didn't work...

The error is caused when you try to join a .48 server while you're using .49. Just make sure you have ET patched to 2.60 and only join servers hosting maps with the prefix obj_
