Whenever I start the game, the screen turns black and I got the message : VGA MODE NOT SUPPORT!

my computer: windows 2000, AMD Athlon 1,9 GHz, 512 MBRam, Direct X 9.0c, NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200

I've played GUNZ before and it had worked without any problems, but after the last patch, the problem occurs. I asked my friend to lend me his version, I uninstalled GUNZ and installed his version. but the problem won't dissapear...

I don't know how to deal with this problem, pls help!:(

it has something to do with windows 2000

i think it has something to do with the monitor, cuz' VGA is (Video Graphics Array -> http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_Graphics_Array) and so it has to do something with the monitor.

Furthermore quoting the requirements from the official Gunz-site "OS: Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows 2000", it schould be compatible.
The other worry point is that the older version had functioned without any problems.:hmm:

i guess it has something to do with your graphics card >.<.
uhhh. try updating your drivers?
or you can adjust some options in the bios, that possible have something to do with vga stuff >_>
but it seems to me gunz is telling you that it cant start because you are in vga mode 0_0. You did start the pc normally right? :O

I'm sorry, my friend has only copied the folder [...]maiet/gunz and I think, there were some files missing, maybe some dll's in the winn32 folder, or sth.
Nevertheless I've redownloaded the game and now it works! :D
