So who all have picked up Final Fantasy III for the DS? All I can say, is WOW. The game is so beautiful, and it's just hella fun to play. The main purpose of this post is to see who all play, and maybe we can hook up using Mognet? So if you're up for it, post your Friend Codes here!

I'll get mine in shortly. Currently, my DS can't connect to the internet here.

The cut/movie scenes are lovely, although the game play graphics are right above mediocre.
I like the idea of the 200k possible group job formations, makes it sound like a good variety.

I loved Final Fantasy Tactics Advance... but now they went back to the same ol'

"Attack"
"Choose Magic"
"Choose Target"

Thats pretty lame to me, so I don't think I'll get it... Im just going to completly complete Contact DS and go pickup Advanced Wars:Duel Strike

Is the battle system turn based or is it more like Crystal Chronicles?

Also, speaking of FF on the DS, is Squarenix still planning a Crystal Chronicles for the DS? I'd definately pick that up, and it would be fun to do the multiplayer game with a couple of friends with DS's.

The battle is turned base, like most Final Fantasy's. The game itself is actually a remake of Final Fantasy 3, that was never released in America. The Final Fantasy 3 that Americans know is actually FF 6 to the Japanese.

And yes, Crystal Chronicles is still being released for the DS, as is a version on the Wii.

wow...seems like DS games are cool...maybe I should get one. I like all the rpg's lolz. Anyways, is it still the same story? just a remake for the graphics and everything?

No, you don't pick your classes untill a certain event happens in the game. Yes, FF 3 is WiFi compatible, but the feature is just a mail system in which you send messages to friends that play the game.
