This improves overall, the community of Maple Story, and the stress that you may have, the outcomes of a fight are usually negative, especially ingame, here are some examples:
-Low fame: The person who you are inganged in with an arguement will get his friends to defame you, as a way to affect you and have the side of winning on their side, although it may not affect some people, the majority of some can get very angry.
-Getting KS'ed: Again, the person most likely after calling his friends to mass defame you will surely get them to ruin your training routine, their ksing will probably go on for a day (couple hours to be exact), especially annoying if your playing on a Saturday morning and just want some peace.
-Getting a bad rep: This doesnt fall in for some cases, but is very possible especially if that person is part of a famous guild or has many friends.
-Getting stressed out: If you are very sensitive, especially on the online world, you'll begin to get very angry, and possibly for the rest of the day have a terrible time. Which may cause your academic's studies, especially if the next day you have a big test coming up, it may ruin your concentration.

To avoid a fight in a common situation, all you really need is a calm and respectful attitude, heres some tips:
-Getting told to "CC PLZ": CC PLZ is translated as an infamous term that means "change channels please", many people find this annoying, and will inconsider to change channels, which will lead to a negative outcome (listed above). To deal with "cc plz" in a decent manner, if you are training also in the area, you can always give him suggestions: "Want to make a party?", "Isnt the place big enough for 2 people?" Although these may not work all the time, they are definetely worth a shot. If worst come to worst, you should end up changing channels (this can only be said for if the person that told you to leave was in that area first.)
-KS issues: Dont KS, if you accidently KS, tell the person that you didnt mean to, and maybe give him a fame, this usually can avoid KS problems. If someone is KSing you, ask them politely to stop, or, simple change channels to avoid problems (its for you own good in the end).
-If you are scammed from the original price of an item it is your own fault: Dont blame it on others that you were scammed out of an item, it is your own fault, please remember that.
-Randomly defaming someone: This is really stupid in general, a tip, dont defame someone for no reason, just dont, most likely no one will ever defame you, but if you start randomly defaming people, then it is likely they will find you.

Then there is times you just happen to engage in a fight, always have preperations if you do:
-Keep a good temper: Dont get pissed off and start screaming at the person, just calmly keep training just as you would usually do.
-Always have a good amount of friends: If you just happen to have a pissy temper, then make sure you have some good friends to back you up if you are in trouble.
-Always check the players level and class: Fights really are interperted as KS wars, there are some things to consider in a KS battle: Class difference (if you are a level 30 mage, and your opponent is a level 24 warrior, it will be alright for you to play in a ks battle with him), level difference (this may not always be true, i.e, if the monster you are trying to ks the player out of is something they can OHKO, you are most likely to lose your ks fight).

This is unfinished at the moment, I'll finish it when I have the time later today.

Getting stressed out, ksed, or defamed? Then just log off and go on the next day and your board is wiped clean.

I just say sorry if I accidently KS. I noticed that if you KS and don't say sorry, they'll cuss at you. If you do, their feelings go blank and say it's okay.

My friend got massed defamed because he stole that 70k from the killed Balrog on the ship. I don't know why he didn't take it right away, so my friend took it.

He asked if I can help but:

I don't want to be hated by my friend if I don't help
If I do, the others will hate me.

The guy who mass defamed my friend was popular and had a lot of friends. So my friend got almost 100defames. =[ I famed him back only twice because they're the only characters I got. Ahaha.

Now if you can do that to the stupid members that never know they were stupid on the forum.

The thing that pisses me off the most if when someone says "cc pls". Like jubin said, it just shows that they're mannerless and selfish. He/she could at least take the time to type out "Change channels please" or "Please change channels". I'd understand if they were in the middle of a fight, but other than that, it's stupid and pointless, and most of the time doesn't work.

Good guide though. Hope some people take into consideration about this.

Defaming -- Think of it this way, the person defamed your character. You can sue for defamation of character (in real life).

I saw it to people when I am at mushmom. (not ccplz, but 'I would appreciate it if you could let me keep my map, I have been here for an hour') and they usually will go.

I hate it when I go AFK in town and someone I don't even know defames me for no reason. When I confront them via whisper they either play dumb or give me some stupid excuse.

This is a great guide to avoid nasty conflicts.

Some people though these days have no manners.

I try to avoid fights overall, if someone says 'ccplz', I'll do it, even if I was there first, I don't want to get in trouble with anyone, despite social status. So, I've never been in a fight.

I also don't have any friends, well because they all left. XO

I'm such an anti-social dork. Haha.
