No kumbi are fine, but if you REALLY wanna level fast you would get yourself a steely set or two. It does take a lot of money though and could possibly ruin your other character.

before u get attached with ur kumbis. lemme tell u this...
claw>glove>stars.
get a gd claw, gd glove then start working on stars. imma stick with tobis till a very long time because steelys and ilbis just cost too friggin much X_x thats y i work on my claw and then slowly re-upgrade my glove.
edit//
@ satio, lol wtf get steelys for. they cost like 90352390mesos and there damage is only enhanced by a set period. kumbis shud be fine but i'd work on a claw after.

read the rules
your not supose to double post -_-
also stars don't make that much of a difference to your damage
where as claws on the other hand do
im a funded sin with 2 sets of steelies 4 sets of tobis and theres almost no difference in damage between to two sets of stars when i use my meeba +7 :p

Have at least one row of stars, that'll be good training.
And getting 4sets of kumbis isn't to bad, get a decent attack glove, and a decent claw, use only 100% scrolls from Meba to lv40, then at 50 start using 60%

You think damage is everything? They enhance the stars by other stuff as well (accuracy, the way you hit the monster) buy a crappy star then buy something like a steely or ilbi and you will see what i mean.

Although some of his reasons are stupid that has given me reason to fund a sin with steelies rather than kumbis or anything else.

Claw > Glove > Stars is a good way to see it.
Also, high level stars cost a lot and i dont think its worth it when you start. I prefer buying 5tobis for the price of 1 steely.
Also, stars runs out, so you need to recharge it. If you buy only 2-3 sets of high level start, you must stop every 15mins to recharge (exemple). While putting money on a good atk glove can help weaker stars get a lil stronger. So i prefer having 9 sets of tobis with a +6atk glove instead of 3steelies. (yet again its an exemple)

in my idea
glove>star>claw
your gonna change claws every 5-10 levels
your gonna keep the glove and star
get tobi
1 set of tobi lasts enough 4 is plentiful
