i remember when i first downloaded ms, during beta. I had this feeling in my stomache and got all excited( i was 13 at the time). i made a mage with 30 str, 15 dex, 10 luk, and rest in inteleegence kuz i wanted even stats. Everyone was so friendly, and you'd look at a lvl 35 person and say he/she was a pro. I went to el nath for the first time with my friend and we shouted and hollard

nowadays, people are jerks. one guy askd me just to give him my hat, and I askd why. He told me so he wouldn't defame me, which he did. Then everybody started to get pissd at this guy, then he starts hacking.

do you even remember when there were no hacks whatsoever at all?

well i came around when bera was made my archer had alright stats but i couldn't level him for shyt and he probly had too much int or luk >_>
i LOVED the old days once i moved to broa i loved that and now im broain but i miss the good ol bera days.

there where more hackers in beta then there is now but i remember finding the lvl 8 mage top in maple island and going nuts cos i wanted to be a mage max bolt pwns at lvl 66 btw xD

Well I starter around November - December '05. Well I wanted to have a good character, so I looked at a guide. I finished my guy as a level 23 str bandit to be with 10 str, 46 DEX, 5 INT, rest into LUK, not bad for a first character. I was also good at getting money, at level 15 I had 100k.

I remember my first time in MapleStory...
way back in the long forgotten days of Tespia.

on impressive feat. (level50 omg uberpro, ie Gundel, Loxie...Archernessss)
The highest level character was rumored to be a GM-supported uberhack0rz....

my 1st time in maple was to big of a n00b>_> putted full str and lots of points in HP was warrior and at lvl15 i couldnt lvlv anymoer cause i missed evrything.

STR Assassin kthx. After that got deleted from lack of verification, my mage was made, but it still sucked stats anyway. Fire arrow at Fire boars and level 10 fire arrow at level 39 ftw.

i remember back in tespia i had an archer around lvl 20 with 600hp

i was so weak
when i hit 200 damage on a green mushroom i was like OMFG PWNAGE!!!

now i realise 200 damage is nothing and having 600hp just means i spend more on pots -_-

yeah i remember when perion was fm laggy but it was great there were some hackers i believe but not really postive ,i miss those days...

I hate it when people come up to you and trades you and says can i have 10k.. u trade 10k.. but they won't trade..

Also when someone asks you for help and you say what.. but they take forever to tell you what they need help with... so you just walk away :P.

yea but there wasn't that much hackers when I started but now its all about hacking

i started playing last august...yeah, the good times where the fm was empty, there were no hackers and my double stab did 2 damage....ahh yesss.....and the WAR!! i want another war, cuz i can actually kill those monsters now. xDDD

The thing I remember most about the old MS was forum 57...we had meets like every week, and everyone got together and had a great time. That was when there were only two servers I believe...now everyone is all spread out and has left. x_X

(Makes me wanna go to the MS private server with Reclamation and all the other people now)

I remember back in beta.. When I first started there was a meet and I was only level 17, and we were supposed to go down to Junior Balrog in sanctuary, Cruix healed me all the way to sanctuary 1, and I died when I went throught a portal with no monsters around :(

i remember buying a black nap for 600k when i was lvl 26 always believing that i will one day get to high enuff lvl to wear this super awesome looking cape....lol and werent white naps for lvl 10?

lol i was a lv 32 cleric in beta and i was so close to 33 -_-''(about 85% or something dun remember) and i had the lvl 33 set that time -_- WAAAAH
o well im a cleric again in global lvl 39 XD

ah when i joined maple that was the end of september in 05

i made a warrior because some forum57 guy said they do 135k damage
and i said my future was unvealed

i had about 3k HP at level 17 and my friends where jealous now they all mock
me becaue they made it to 9x and im stuck with a 2x ARGHH

Loxie's meets were good until they started to get all complicated with quiz games and such. The "kill everything" method was much more fun, especially for those of a lower level :3

I certainly enjoy the official maplestory more, but sounding like you've been playing back then "Lole, the good ole days" where everything sucked makes you sound cool, I suppose. At least, the people who I meet in-game who claim to have played for 10 years say so.
Actually, beta was more about running around and failing and oms is more about angry ksing and leveling so they both fail at the same level.

It was funny when i first started, i was like whoa 2D ANIME Graphics, i made a warrior even stats, turned warror at level 12 :S i saw like level 40 and i clicked them, and ss'ed them syaing like "Whoa your So pro''. Man those times were hillarious.

Lol I rem when I first met mazz...She was like 60 or 80 or some shiet like that and I was like WTFUX GOD...and lol remeber those days when you were at Wild Boar land ( dont rem what its called been a long time now that im 60 ^_^) and when you leveled everyone in the fuxin map was like OMGIZZAY GRATS YOU LVLED and you felt good and motivated and you wanted to just give weed and meso to every muthofcka in the game and shiet....ya those were the good ol' dayz.......*shoots self* XD

I was totally clue-less with maplestory. I thought level 30 was amazingly high and I'd switch between my amazing level 10 dagger and garnier with subis every few hits (multi ninja ftw). I got bored of Maplestory easily in Beta, the ksing now is fun when you have people trying to ks you when they can't.

Lol I remeber when I had a Lollipop and I thought I was the shiet O_o

Of course it was fun, only a few ppl got to tauros, lv40 was pro and when you got over lv50 all ppl at perion1 got "ZOMGZORRUBERPRO"
