My friend was on my account yesterday, and stupidly, he got scammed of 10 million, trying to buy an 8 attack work glove.

So I'm just curious - how many times have you gotten scammed before, and how much in total did you lose?

Once. I lost about 4m.

Never. I don't even trust my best friend nor my sister with my account info.
Heck, they don't even know my Login ID. Overprotective? Yea.
But if I do something moronic with it, I only have myself to blame.

And now the closest ive been scammed was to pay overprice for scrolls that i needed (60% int overall)

Also, People have tried to scam me like 5 times. All attempts failed.

I found wooden tops in beta and almost sold them for 40k (when they were 200k each), but my friend bought them first for 20k and a few dollars. After that, a few people tried to scam me (very few though), but I was experienced enough not to fall for them. One occurance that comes to mind was when I was at mushmom and someone claimed they could duplicate anything with they good old alt, alt, whatever, whatever. I put my blue maro, claimed to press the keys, then put my red maro. After that, I placed the green maro into the trade box for a total of three maros. The scammer claimed I was a hacker and changed channels.

Never. I rarely go and sell stuff, I find it boring and the meso-hungry people there annoy me so the only times I sell/buy stuff is when I know what the prices are.

I got scammed once. For around 3mil. Back when i was around level 30 and new. One guy buddied me, saying he was looking for a blue tai andwas willing to give steelys for it. I was like " Okay, I'll see if I can find one" So I go to FM, and RIGHT away some guy traded me, I didnt even say anything yet, but he shows me a blue tai, now I was younge and dumb so I gave him 4mil for it. I look for my buddy and he just logged off. Right then I knew he scammed me. So yeah...after that, i was very cautious with meh mesos.

Rarely get scammed, I always do price checks before I ever buy anything.

I agree with the fact that it's immature, but there's no reason to be so harsh about it. Refund was once the leader of my guild in Windia, a couple months later, when he gained my trust, he betrayed me too. It just hurts to have a friend, over the internet or not, betray you. SOme people get upset, and soem people just get angry. Everyone has a different way of controlling these emotions, and his way, although immature, is understandable. I suggest dealing with it until he gets over it, and maybe offer support and friendship instead of yelling at him.

Also, we would like to have a proof when people make those kind of accusation. Maybe its true but you know its easy to say "Olaph asked me to try 1 set of tobis and he stole them". But when making those kind of accusation bring proof along, otherwise it can be only trash talk.

We are a community here, so when troubles happen between 2 member of it, it should be dealt privatly. You can talk about it 1 time but further fights should be done away from the rest of the community.

i thought the guy was selling summonign rocks for 5k each cuz the colour of the price was green. i was too lazy to check the number of 0's.
i bought 2... and both were 5mil each..._.

I got scammed by a double crosser, he said he needed me to drop my steelies to make a drop game look realistic and then he jacked it. I guess I get what I deserve =P

lol i was scammed by my "friend". He went on my friend in real lifes acc and asked me what my acc info was. The real owner of the acc knew the info. So, thinking it WAS my friend, i gave it to him. He took everything i had. lol he also tried to hack my friend but luckily when i chatted him and i was naked, i changed my friends info so she wouldnt be hacked lol my own stupid fault for trusting an online "friend"
