hi im thinking of trying this game, where can i find some good info on classes? thanks :3WARNING BLOCK OF TEXT EXPLANING CLASSES PLAY STYLE(*SORTA) UP
besides the fact that you must now go to broa if and when you join look for
Zadams pros and cons of each class guide for future refrence it can be found in onrpgs guide section otherwise there are 4 basic classes (i count 6 which ill explain later)
They consist of 1st 2nd 3rd and fourth job advancment
each class is made for a different purpose
the classes i consider different from eachother are Begginer,Bowman,Magican,Warrior,Thief(assassin), and theif(bandit) i consider the thief class two different classes(even in first job) because of there HUGE differencesill gointo more detail now
Melee(attacks at close range with wepons like swords and daggers there are three classes with melee they arre the
WARRIOR
a strong tank like attacker able to dish out huge damage in one powerfull attack they use a lot of potions but can be a huge use to a party with there high hp and interesting skills
BEGGINER(expert class)
this class never makes a job advancment known as the "jobless" class these guys dont get skills aside from the three begginer skills its not a common class but fun and hard at the same time :)
and last but now least
THEIF(BANDIT)
These are the quick and witty dagger weilders relying on speed more then high damage they get a quick 6 hit attack even though they cant hit as high damage as warriors they fast and stable.
now for the RANGED classes
THEIF(ASSASSIN)
These guys are the most common class(aside from magicans) they throw ninja stars and are probly the most effoicent class out there they can do high slighty unstable damage but there fast and some of the coolest looking.
BOWMEN
Ahh bowmen my favorite class Bowmen are the REALLY long ranged attackers trying not to get in close they have no party skills(skills that help in a party only bomen have none. untill 4th job comes out O.o) Bbowmen have HUGELY unstable damage and great mobbing potential they for me are real fun but they cant hold it up in melee has a good mix of mp/hp and can dish out the damage in late game(50+) these guys are the mobbers and explorers of maplestory
last but not least
MAGE
The mage the magic user the healer the elementalist
Mages can be quite versitile(*not nowhere as versitile as bowmen or bandits) but they have to stya withing there elemental weekness (usally) they are the only ranged class tto have no minimum range(if a monster is too close (2cm away] the bowman will swing the bow to knock it back and the assassin will pnch untill he/she jumps and attacks or gets away fomr the monster mages dont worry about this because they have no minimum range there skills can also go through walls and clerics can heal other people.
Everyclass has its ups and downs while this guide may contain bias i tell you to go and read zadams guide as he was a great guide writer and used little to no bias in his guide
i hope you can pick if you still have torouble pm me or talk to me in broa
Naturewolves-level 30 hunter
i wont go into to second job classes but thats about it.
EDIT@hilgers//Seriosuly i wouldn't really recommend Hidden-street as it shows skills not the way there played a better idea would be sleepywood so you could look at the guides but the best idea is zadams guide.
just because it tells more of what the class does looking at skills is like looking at names of food with letters missing and picking one. >_>

I think Zadam's guide should be stickied and be put in the main MapleStory section of the forums...there are too many of these threads.
