I came to this collection of forums so that I could voice my game ideas and gaming aspects and those who were here could tell me if they were even possible and/or interesting.
Point out flaws in the ideas themselves and ways they might become better.

I have spoken to another who wants the same thing because all they get is praise for the game concept they have and isn’t receiving any negative feedback that points out the flaws in their idea or problem solving methods.
They want to make a better game but aren’t getting any useful feedback.

But, posting in “General” and “Newbie Zone” usually doesn’t give me any useful replies and posting in “Game Dev Classifieds” basically just leaves me ignored by those who are in there for whatever reason.

So I would like to know if there is a Forum that allows us to voice our game ideas and gaming aspects to be examined by others for their critiquing and troubleshooting.

If not, I ask that one be made.
It could be called:
Game Concepts: Critique and Troubleshooting.

Ironically enough, one could say that this thread belongs in the Suggestions & Feedback forum (http://www.onrpg.com/boards/suggestions-feedback/)...

Perhaps you aren't getting any negative feedback because you aren't asking for it? People will likely just shrug an idea off with a "good idea" rather than give any input if you don't ask for input D:

While it is true that I have not always asked for feedback I have asked for it often enough to not believe that’s the real problem.
And the other says they have asked continuously for negative feedback and gotten nothing but praise for their ideas.

I thought of that and I’m going to test it but from what I’ve seen of the place it is for those who are deep in programming aspects of game making not discussing whether skills should define your character not their jobs.
Or what problems are inherent in making hybrid style games, such as R.P.G R.T.S. s’.

It looks like you can go in with an idea, but if you aren’t interested in speaking code you aren’t worth their time except to tell you that you should learn a programming language.

Response to idjit posts like that: “Big Surprise!”

Search his previous posts to find out instead of making him say it again.
