I was so excited for it when I first found out it was going to be in english, then I got my hands on a korean account.....I was heart broken to find out how bad of a game it is. The visuals are all right but the gameplay is even worse than GunZ...

It really has a lack of skill factor as people only really do one thing, and thats jump and slash down with a lance, or if you just want to get easy money; stand in a corner with a giant gun shooting at people who are fighting for a ks.

if Exteel is what KMF sais, yes, it would probably be quite lame. I have seen several gameplay movies and francly, it's just like KMF sais, there's one guy who stands on top of a building (or in a kind of healing circle) 1 hit-killing everyone -KSmode- with a big laserweapon. I think i lost my (future) intrests in Exteel as well. Exteel will probably turn out just like Gunz, in about 5 months, the servers are swarming with 'pro' player who use this berserk playstyle which takes months of 'training' to do (this refers to the K-style in Gunz) making it impossible for any newcomers to actually do something ...

It's no where near impossible to beat K-Style without using it. There's actually a simple and logical answer. NO human being without an aim bot can place shots as well while jumping around as you can while standing still and aiming shots, it's a proven fact. When you run into a K-Styler, find an area with lots of corners to hide behind and let them chase you around, only shooting back at them when you know they are just coming around a corner, it's almost impossible for a K-Style person to beat you if you do this. Now most will call you a n00b or a coward for constantly running away and slowly picking at their HP, but when push comes to shove you beat them, proving you have a superior strategy.

Edit: For even more of a shock factor, carry a knife instead of a sword, most K-Style people are more used to sword fighters than knifers, plus most people never expect you to knife them when you are running away. If you wait and pull it out only once you're around a corner and they can't see you, and then you do the knifes alternate attack the moment they hit the ground, you're bound to catch them off guard and lay them on their back. Now this will almost guaranteedly kill them, and most definately make them call you a n00b or a lamer, but what do you care if someone you just owned called you a n00b? I generally reply with "If I am a n00b and you just got owned by a me, what does that make you?".

The big cannons are the snipers of exteel , so quit complaining, its what snipers do.

Not to mention i have saved alot of people like that and they thank me. I usually carry around a heal gun and a cannon so yea.

The game does get old quite fast, is not exactly what i was expecting and while the cannons are easy to use i was hoping there would be an actual snipe gun with a zoom (takes more skill to use).

this game is quite 'gay' u can only hit the person when there is a crosshair appear...i can hardly do spray with npc cannon sniper

i haven't played exteel before. since i'm not in beta either, i don't play gunz, i played it about 3 days, when it was still in beta for the international version. i say k-style 'facts' on bases of what i hear from other people who still play it. and about that huge lasercannon. now there's a general misconception of the idea 'sniper rifle-meant for silent hunting' ... i had rather called it a 'nuke' to make it match better with it's appaerance

NCSoft isn't stupid though. Exteel already has a bundle of items, some skills, and body parts in CB.

Honestly im actually in the Cb and I know what im talking about there are few bugs and the game in Cb is already extemely close to completion...so just wait until it actually comes out and you will see. But i mean if you arent in and you've only played the foreign version, you really cant reserve judgement for it. You cant read it,probobly alot of lag seeing as the server is in another county,etc.

This is a thread about exteel. Yet most of the posts are about gunz and k-style...unless you have actually played both and played diffrent versions of exteel. Then don't post crap about some other game.

I have tried igunz nagunz kgunz jgunz. I have also played kr exteel and i am currently playing exteel cb eng.

Exteel is not gunz and nothing like gunz. For one gunz is played with human players using modern day weapons and can do matrix acrobatic moves.

Yes gunz and exteel do have the "basics" of online fps. But other than that they are diffrent.

Exteel is a mech game. Played with robots using boosters and futuristic weapons. You can fully customize every single part of your robot. The stats are more detailed. The game actually has a story line. The game modes are diffrent from gunz.

I must admit i do agree with alot of you. USA/International always gets screwed over when it comes to updates. Every other country gets updated faster than us with alot of online games.

But we still get those updates....

Nope already a game out there for the xbox... the controller for the game is like 200-300 bucks i think and looks like your inside the mech and the game itself is 80 bucks...there happy oh and there is only continue in this game and if you die... You have to restart from the begining unless you Eject fast enough So yeah Exteel which is free... or do you want to pay like 450 tax... for that?Hmmmmmm...see it's not that hard it just wastes your money : O

You weild a Sword+SMG.There's a skill for it.Dual Swords?No prob,got skill.Dual Shotties?Yup,that's the one.One more skill.

Your Eject,You live another day to fight but like i said its expensive because if you donth ave an X-Box you will have to pay 200(Controller)+80(game itself)+200(X-box) so $600 in total for everything and with that money you could upgrade your sytem with the best stuff almost

What mostly got me was when mud got on your windshield: there was a button to for the windshield wipers

Eh, that will be debated for years to come along with these two other fellows: Mechwarrior (Battletech) and Heavy Gear.

As for the snipeing, once your noticed with a big gun you better start running for your life becuase people do NOT like you when you have a canon. And Exteel is too fast paced to have zoom in, even if it did, the mechs are too fast and you'd be zooming in and get a lance through the chest.

In any other shooter I've played you need to be in range to shoot anything. If you want to hit far get a better ranged weapon, its simple.

I meant even with Ranged weopons you cant just go around pwning stuff you Have to get locked on which can be challenging in some situations for some people requiering some amount of skill

This game is awesome. I love playing it with my friend(trying to get keys for other friends).
What i like about this game is that it is really fast paced w/ the boosts. U can juke around, trick ur opponent, and shoot/stab the sh*t out of him.
This game takes strategy, too. If u see a guy with rifles, u obviously want to try to juke through his attacks and get close enough for him to lose the auto-aim. By then u can smg his a** for a big deal of dmg until he switches guns. Then ur smgs r prolly overheated. U have to switch to ur 2nd weapon set. Then u have to use another style to finish him off. I would run cuz i have rifles for 2nd weapon set. I run and shoot like a newb until he is DEAD!
The skill animations r fast, so no biggie.
I suggest people to make games for less players(8 is minimum for now. Thats a 4v4).
If ur actually good at movements and strategy u can ezily own 2 guys in a 2v1.
It aint ez but i killed 2 corporals when i was still a private. hmmm...
O yeh, if u lvl up ur EN, u can boost for a lot longer, even longer if ur set of armor is light. U can lvl up speed to move faster. I cant wait till im high lvl cuz im going to be so fast, u'll see my after images.
