I have a problem, Im at the launcher updatung the game but it has taken around 9+ hours just to get 15% of the update. My question, is it the size of the update or my computer that is making it update so slowly? :confused::confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Its none. It is a torrent file. Torrent files are files that you download off of someone called a, "Seeder". If there are no seeders then you can't really download anything. You download the file off of others online people. If they aren't online, there is nothing to download. Click the, "More Info" on the right of the download bar of the game launcher. If there is nothing on the white part of the screen, then that means there are no seeders on.

IMO, this torrent idea is not good, it really sucks. GunZ need a better downloading, thingy.

I recommend you to use BitComet or other client to download the patch.
you can do this by Executing GunZLauncher and open BitComet to browse for the torrent file located at your GunZ folder. Enjoy

at 45%..anyone finished downloading the patch yet? i let it open since last night but it were still stuck at 35.85% but it started downloading after i reopen it =[

i finally got the game to work a few days agbut now the buggers did an update, and now can only do 35% is there anyway to do this faster, it stayed on 35.53% for hours ...........

man this is so lame, torrenting is a piece of crap. why did they have to go and update a perfectly fine game. now it's gonna take like 5 days of torrenting to get the dam thing to work again. i wish gunzfactor would come out with the new updated version to download so we don't have to torrent anything

EDIT: i'm currently at 50% and my launcher is blasting off at 40 kb/s, is that good or bad -_-

40 kb/s should be good enough, unless the seeder disconnects.

Well sometimes the Launcher downloads faster then use it ;)

PPL! open gunz launcher and open gunz folder[my computer-->program file-->MAIET-->GUNZ-->GUNZ[torrent file]] then open it with BitComet or w/e torrent program u r using. It will only take 5-10 minutes for it to finish:) . i will try my best to answer ur problems

yeah, my GunZ torrent is a bit laggy, it gets stuck at 37.70% then stops, so when I restart it goes up like 980KB/s but the percent doesn't go up :confused: I wish they use the old launcher thingy cuz its updates faster for me :) (Internet speed 400 MBps :D)

i deleted gunz becuz i thought it was my com's fault and then i installed it back and now it 0 percent all over again, and after using bitcomet, i went to the gunz torrent file and click on it then the bitcomet is downloading it at 0.00kphs per sec and nothing is happening. =( can anyone help.

lol the client i downloaded from the main site worked a treat for me. it got to 100% in 30 mins so maybe its got something to do with the seeder.....;)

Considering your username, I'm believing this will be your last post here...

Anyways, you have to actually START THE GAME before you can reach the torrent file. Starting the launcher will activate the automatic update, thus creating a new torrent file inside the gunz folder....

For your "not responding problem, you probably open up other programs while doing this process, not giving the computer enough power to focus on one program, just leave the darn thing alone.....
