Looks pretty good like all the other Rainbow Six games, I'll probably dl it off some warez site. :) Also this belongs in Single player.

If you could actually read... The section is for "FREE" games (not including warez!) And it's obviousley not a MMO

same... this ain't a free game... and obviously not RPG... although its not MMO there is still FPS, so seriously, which place is the best place to group this game under?

The general section.

This game doesn't look much different than other rainbow six games in mechanics I will stick to raven shield.

i personally don't like the rainbow six series too much. i'm not into very realistic teamwork shooters. other than that, it has, once again, good reviews, scoring above 80/100 on several gamesites. Go Tom Clancy, hurray !

The single player story mode isn't as good as raven sheild, but its multiplayer and online co-op, blows it out of the water.

I play the xbox360 version because the PC version is terrible.

My Review of Rainbow Six: Vegas

There is definately a change in Gameplay mechanics. You don't plan your route through the level. It's really fast paced/arcade-like. Plus in this one you don't have some gigantic Command Wheel like in Raven Shield. You have simple point and action commands. Point at a wall and press space and your squad will find cover behind the wall. Also you can take cover...A NEW FEATURE TO RB6 games. You can spray or pop out and shoot.

Also in the levels are Armory Boxes which are green. They allow you to switch your weapons or stock up on weapons. You can add attachments to any of the guns. 6x scopes, ACOG scopes, lasers, etc. There isn't much to choose, BUT they do choose some of the best weapons: MP5A5, AK-47,FAMAS, UMP45, MP7, MAC11, PSG-1, Scout, SCAR-H CQC, X8, Desert Eagle, MK.23, etc

The AI is incredible. IT's not as smart as F.E.A.R. AI but it can get you. IF you shoot a guy with a silenced weapon and he screams in pain, chances are, his friends will hear him and come to flank you. They are fast and organized. They rarely bunch up on the same piece of cover. It's funny sometimes because they talk to each other about food if you sneak to them and listen.

Multiplayer is pretty much the same. There are a few bugs but patches come out fast. (There are two already: v1.01 and v1.02) Creating your own operative for online play is pretty sweet. Which kinda takes the Genre of RPG, just not in the traditional sense. You have Co-Op play or Competitive play. For Co-Op play there are thigns like Terrorist Hunt and Co-Op through the story. Competitive modes include the standard Rainbow Six Deathmatch.

Graphcis: 9/10 - There are SOME hiccups in framerate
Sound: 7/10 - Most weapons sound the same but the soundtrack is amazing. Music switches if your infiltrating or engaging an enemy.
Playability: 10/10 - It was easy to pick up and play.
Replay Value: 8/10 - You'll keep coming back to this game. The online community is large but not enough.

Upside: Deep tactical shooter still remains underneath fast action gameplay. Gorgeous graphics. Wicked smart AI.
Downsides: You'd need a fast computer to play. Or you can buy it for PS3 and Xbox360. A couple bugs on online play.
