Ok i was actually a hardcore Playstaytion Fan like i didnt like Xbox or nintendo or anything.. else well actually i played pokemon when iw as little but yea. Im really thinking about getting a Nintendo Wii because for some reason i think tis way better then ps3 and xbox 360 because i ehrd its more fun. Even the tought of it is making me wanna get it bad.

So i need some info on the Nintendo Wii

1. If you played the Nintendo Wii tell me how it felt like how fun it was

2. How is it online do you have to pay to play online because that would be wack.. and can i use my PSP Wifii Max to play my nintendo wii online?

3.Is it fast like when you move your controller does it move at the speed of light or does it take half a second or something <do you understand what im asken here?

4.Wich game do should i get if i get the wii does it bring any demo or any game to play when you buy it?

there is.....i went to eb today and there was a bunch of people playing zelda on it...there was a pretty big line for it too, and they put i nice looking samsung too play it on. and it seemed that everyone enjoyed playing it. I would have given it a go but i know i am getting one for christmas because i waited 10 hours at toys r us to get one, but my parents made me wait till christmas to play it, but i can't complain since they paid for it.

3) It's fairly fast, but rather sensitive.
4) 'Wii Sports' comes with it, but get 'The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess' as well.

Ummm if your planning on buy a Wii may I also recommend you buy: this tv (http://www.thegrillstoreandmore.com/image/products/big-pics/1535575b.jpg).
It's ruggedized which means if some strange, remote controll is vigorously swung and snaps the strap, when it hits your TV, it won't break!

Personally, i haven't played the Wii yet, but i CAN give you a short list of games that are out for it.

to start... it comes packaged with Wii Sports(this is bowling, golf, tennis, and i think there is one more.).

Then there's Red Steel. it's a FPS game controlled with the remote. supposedly, you'll have a katana that you swing with the remote in addition to your guns.

Then there's Rayman: Raving Rabbids. Supposedly, it's just a big mini-game compilation, but the mini games are apparently really funny. one of my friends told me that one of the involved shooting plungers at these rabbids while wearing nothing but a fig leaf. and he also says that the minigame has an over-dramatized feel thanks to the orchestra music playing in the background.

lets see... There's a harvest moon game for it, but i haven't heard too much about it.

This brings us up to my first pick... Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. it's also coming out for GCN, but meh. swinging the sword, fishing archery... all with the remote.
Anyway, i'll leave it at that.

P.S. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is gonna come out for it, but probably not for a while. (solid snake, YAY!) *EDIT* I just wanna add... if you DO get a Wii, hold on to the dang remote, it's not hard. or better yet, get a golfing glove at wal-mart for gripping purposes. and dont forget to exchange the strap it comes with for a thicker one(free at wal-mart, supposedly).

Ok. This is how I feel about the Wii with all fanboyism aside.
I am already bored with it. Not extreamly bored, but after getting so far in Zelda, its just nnot drawing me back like The past zelda games. Its a great game, its just.. theres nothing really there to keep you playing. (besides beating it)

As much as I liked DBZ in the beggining, I realized how shallow the game acctually is. Characters aren't that different and there are not that many moves.

Wii sports lost the excitment after 2 weeks playing with friends and family.


I just feel like theres not much to do with my wii, besides the over priced old console games that you buy.
Im putting my Wii aside until I see games that make me want to bring it ack out. Dragon quest: Sword looks decent for it, but swinging the sword repeatingly(??) for a random battle doesnt seem to be that crazy.
I hope they do not screw up Mario party. They better be using the ninchuck or the game will straight out suck.

The titles that are out, you can get easily bored with.

If your looking for some fun, then go buy a Wii. I've played it before. I tried Rayman: Raging/Raving Rabbits/Rabbids (I dont know the freaking title but I know its Rayman), and its fun lolz. Playing the Wii is fun but if you want some serious, kick-*** action, with a cool complicated story (yup...complicated...), then go with PS3. The Wii is for everyone yet the PS3 is for some serious guys out there. I have to agree with the guy 2 posts above me. It is kinda boring after a while...

Dam now im thinking if i should get it.. but then again the new games that nintendo will bring out for it like final fantasy..ect will make it much better

Agreed. I used to be on both sides (never much of a Microsoft fan), but I just think Sony went too far with the price and Blu-Ray this time. They don't even know if Blu-Ray has any repercussions to using it for extended periods of time! Yet, they had the audacity to release the system before they tested it.

It's actually funny in a self-defeating kind of way; Gears of War has much better graphics than anything the Halo 3 team's been able to come up with so far. Ingame shots of H3 look practically identical to Halo 2. >_>

But, that's to be expected, I guess. GeOW is running on a lesser version of a much more powerful engine than anything Bungie will be able to come up with.

It's fun, but to me it seems like it's targeting a different audience: the masses, instead of hardcore gamers. I don't like the idea of swinging around that remote either, it was a complete nuissance while playing Zelda. But... it could mean huge sales for Nintendo, because a lot of casual people are getting interested in it, and it's cheap.

They definetely need this after poor Gamecube sales, or they'll end up like the Dreamcast. @_@;

Yeah, I agree with you there. I'm not sure exactly why Halo is so successful... there could be a number of reasons. Timing for when it came out, first title to really go strong as an FPS in the Online console world... but then again, I could also say the same for Counter-Strike. I'm not a fan of it- I really played maybe five matches, and was just insanely bored with it. But, it's attained the status of "Legendary" as a game.

Personally.. I'm a Battlefield person. Battlefield 1942, BF2, BF2142... I've always enjoyed those much, much more than any other FPS. I like being able to mess around in planes and other vehicles in huge-*** levels... you're not required to be able to snipe headshots from a mile away to be a good player, either. You can play a medic or engineer, and still have loads of fun.
