It depends what maps your playing. I consider COT, Defiances RPG, and Final fantasy open RPG, AND all the other great unbalanced maps RPGs. Cant go wrong with Warcraft =D.

If you mean "The Founding of Durotar" campaign, then yes, it is a RPG.

No its a RTS with rpg elements i never liked wc3 the whole Hero's thing was stupid to me i like Zero Hour but thats my flavor

It is very RPG-esque.

All of Blizzard's strategy games can be played in a fairly RPGish mode. I made a Knight into a character using the old WCII MapEditor, There have been Diablo 1 and 2 clones on Starcraft, Jarvis was the character of a Dink Smallwood modification using a footman graphic (Okay that doesn't count) and there are a decent number of RPG game-types online with WCIII.

Still a strategy game though really. But yeah, lots of RPG elements. Heroes could have used some refining methinks.

It is most definatly an rts with storyline, and a very good one at that.

Normal games aren't RPG, but the campaign is (well, 'The Founding of Durotar' is) and online there are some Custom Games which are RPG. Like Dota or something.
