the beta started on 22nd. there are two servers, columbus and megellen. i chose columbus.

when i logged in the game, there had been a lot people. some of them had equiped certain weapon, and wore elegant clothes. and there were many people on the port, preparing to sail out. it was really cool.
i entered the athens, go to the master of an alliance. and accepted a task from him. then i go to the skill master at the entrance of the city to learn the skill required to complete the task. i did my task at the suburb, mining, falling timbers, planting and killing animals. every time i submited my task, the master paid me. for the planting task, the master paid me 10000, great.

there were so many doing the task, every time they could help me out of question when i asked for help.
it is just a piece of my experience. i just did the handicraft tasks. i have no idea about other tasks. is there anybody would like to share your experience together.

The idea is awesome, I just don't like...SOMETHING about it. I can't put my finger on it at all.

The topic creator seemed to have ran into good people, cause when I played for a spell, there were nothing but pricks sailing around and complaining about people steeling their kills.

I'll get back to it later this evening to see if I can really get into it. I love the concept.

Oh and the text size in game is way too small. My eyesight isn't all that great, so the 6 point text is deadly.

I like it. Though Ive made about 6 chars so far, as I never like the one I got, though one of my chars has/had double exp and any other did not O_o

Now im playing on not Columbus server with falchion, timber, mining and ship building things (Might get smithing too)

Though all I do right now is gather minerals/wood stuff and play flash games same time :)

Ahh, i'm in the Columbus server. I have an exploring falchion character there. I have... timber felling, ship-building as well.

Well i was going to DL it, but i have a couple of questions


1:The DL is 8hours for me, is it work the wait?
2:Do alot of ppl play it that speak English and a good community
3:Is their alot of diffrence in the characters apperance from one another
4:Are their alot of weapons/armor
5:Good Graphics?
6:Cool Monsters
7:What about the skills? Do they look cool, amazing perhaps
8:Money, Is it hard to get?
9:How is the Sailing, Can you get diffrent ships? Customize Alot about it?

1. If you download it with torrent with 1mbit connection it should be faster(I got 1mbit connection and got it in 3-4hours)
2. People do speak english but not yeat uber large community overall its pretty nice i think
3. I dont know any mmo with (alot) customasition stuff but this has more than avg
4. 1 type for trader 1 for sailer and 1 for warrior (not really much 3 types)

6. Reindeers and bunnies (if you go to africa you should find elephants i suppose)
7. No flashy magic skills ive seen (which I like That I havent)
8. Nah, I got 70k by doing collecting quests
9. alot more customasition that other games with ships (most other games dun have ships thats why) yeah its fun Im going to America atm (though theres just 1 port)

For customisation, we probably have different standarts. Good customsation for me is Project Entropia/ Entropian universe stage and bad Is the rest This game goes actually for the rest (should have thought when ansvering)

Lol, it possibly exists. You should be able to go the pacific... if you spend some long time on it. I want to search for Sydney, Australia(where i live) but the furthest place i went to was London. I'm just not prepared to go any further currently.

I think I may have skipped the tutorial island or whatever, I don't know. Eaither way, I was confused as hell, and not one person of hundreds who passed me would stop to answer my question. After doing a few carry quests and trying to sail around in a ship I gave up and logged out. Maybe I'll try again soon.

You can always ask here for some help. I learnt a bit on how to play. Sailing, attacking pirate ships, exploration, escort quests(from port to port), etc.

Going to sydney will take long time, as there is no channel(that thing in egypt what thru ships sail) So you have to go around africa -.-

I don't feel like playing it because i lost my stuff.Man..I miss my boat and my cannons alredy *sniff*.
Eventualy,alot of people sailed around Japan,India and +.I wanted to sail to Australia but in RL it would take about 2 months..Imagine in the game,you're provisions are running dry and Australia has no port :D.

so many ppl have rich experience. i am still on land of athens. it is cool to sail out. but i am not familiar with the world map. and how much provision should i carry. i should sail to the offing sea or the high sea? i am confused. i am afraid i will destroy my ship. :(

btw, after my character died, i didnt lose my items. :)

mmm.... offshore is usually near port, i don't think that takes you anywhere. High Seas will allow you to travel between city to city and everything. I usually carry about 500-1000 with me and go at 2 full sailings(whatever those things are called). I used to go all 4 but that costed me a lot so i dropped it to 2. The only time i go 4 now is when i want to attack pirates.

Oh and my character died once... i lost that ship which was meant to be for the escort quest which i wasn't able to finish any more.

So, some experiences of item loss and some of not losing items... okay. That clears it all up for me then.

Well, if you manage to find drifters, some of the crates may give you cash. Killing pirates.. i don't recall gaining any silvers. Exploring and then authenticating the item can give you silver. Not sure what else

I found silver in drifters before.. but it's nothing to what you can earn as a merchant...

the easiest way to earn money though, is to have a merchant buy low and sell high.

I tried the game, and guess what? It's not worth the one gig download. At least for myself. The game progresses too slowly, in one hour all i've done is sailed around aimlessly in the high sea finding the mobs to kill for the quest but to no avail. I guess overcrowding is a problem, but even so, killing those ships take forever.

Didn't really like it. I should go play some Devil May Cry or something where mobs just keep dropping. Have fun if you like being a sailor though.

I make my character look super awesome! Im on the starting ship skimming through the text.. a little confused n managed to do the right things.. Then i clicked on something n i was sailing n got atked.I thought i was getting pked so Tried to tell him to stop

IT WAS AN NPC! anyways i tried to kill it but i couldnt turn around too easily. so i clicked on something n was sent to the main town. There I wandered confused. I got a job at the tavern being afk . I got little money.. I collected 8k from some other noob. Then i bought an armor that im never going to wear.

Then i cryed more to this noob who helped me out. I talked to some noob named TheSkill Master or something n got mining n stuff.. Now i make cutlass's all day.. Mine, Wood Cut, Smith, Mine , wood cut, smith.. Ive made some friends but they're all noobs so I pretty much fly solo owning all the crabs n turtles.



REMINDS ME OF MY FUN RUNESCAPE TIMES AS A KID! Ride bikes down to the library with my bro n Mine all day! SO MUCH FUN!

You can become a pirate of course.. but i just started so im not rushing things.. One step at a time

Not only is there Boat to Boat pvp combat, but theres real combat with your characters.. So basically, you level your character and your boat. You can equip a lot of stuff to your boat n mod it out.. and you equip stuff on your character. Get up Axe fighting, sword fighting, something else i think, and gun fighting! ...

Right now Im taking trips .. Im Cutting wood down as i type this. When im over weight inw ood, imma go back , take out my pickaxe, deposite my woods, and get a bunch of iron ores.. WHEN THIS IS FINISHED ILL HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO SMITH ILL BE SO RICH!

I'm completely amazed out how every 104 post that you've made on this account has been about advertising this game. Are they paying you to do this? Or are you promised some items? To be honest you're one of the worst advertisers I've seen. Telling us about a game that has people with a weapon equipped and wearing weapons does not strike me as cool. Most games have characters that use weapons or wear clothes. The quest capability of this game strikes me as terrible from what you've described. Seems extremely repetitive. Man, I know you're getting paid or are a GM cause you're foreign.

is there a better way to download it? right now ill be finished downloading in a day....

My opinion, choose to ignore (at your own peril) - this game is like an amazingly cool and way better version of Runescape. I completely suck at it, don't have a f**king clue what I'm doing, and yet it's still fun!

My only gripe with this game is that I disconnect every now and again while trying to use the Gates to the city/port.

Gameplay: 8/10 so far :) worth the download in my opinion, and I'm a fussy gamer.
