Well i know WoW is the most popular mmorpg at the moment but i dont really want to play WoW. Whats the 2nd most popular mmorpg? Not counting guild wars by the way.

Second most popular? Thats a pickle. There are so many games out right now (and soon to come out), it's almost impossble to tell.

I would say Dungeons and Dragons : Online. There are more people in the taverns on D&D than there is in Orgrimmar on holidays on WoW.

That's an exaggerated comment, i've played both and depends on which WoW server you're on...Orgrimmar could be completely packed on holidays.

You could give D&D a try, it's a pretty good alternative to WoW.

Actually the second most popular is Runescape, I know you hate to hear that but it is more popular then any other mmo except for WoW and possibly Guildwars. Behind them is Lineage II which is actually the second most popular MMO and the most popular company in the world. It isn't as popular over here but in Asia it has over 4million accounts ;).

WOW! Runescape second? Man that's terrible. I wouldn't dout Lineage 2 is popular in Asia, it's a pretty fun game.

Hmm I cannot confirm the Runescape one but here is from Wiki.

Now when we compair that to the amount of total users on Lineage II, that is about a 1/11 ratio, which is really really small for being a certain amount of people on at a single time to the total amount of users ever of a single second largest game.

Only reason runecape is 2nd best cuz you get hooked on it and addicted its wierd it happened to me. and 190,000 ppl online at a time theres also counting non-susciribers so many people play f2p runecape.

Ive PLayed alot of mmorpgs prob almsot all of them and ultima online by far have the msot people playing at 1 time runescape had alot of people but that was only half the amount to ultima online.WoW didnt have near that many people but most 3d games like that u dont see to many.
