I've been going Pure STR so far, but I accidentally added one point in Dex when I leveled up... I hope that won't hurt too much :(

PS - Should I just keep adding into STR? A bit more into DEX maybe? Or VIT? :eye:

Been going pure str too but if you havn't reach lvl 10 you could restat when you change your job class. But I did heard from berry that DEX helps warrior in critical rate.

I dont really see a critical yet on my warrior though...It'll be a waste of stat if dex was added.

dont think you can get criticals, but you can dodge, and that helps. Dont really worry too much about screwing your character up, its probably gonna get wiped once CB finishes anyway, just try different things out, so you can get it right at open beta.

I think dex will get your max damage up. So having more dex will give you higher damage but also more random damage i suppose.

eh... where have you heard that there is going to be a wipe? and i don't think that open beta is going to open in near days...

Well sometmes CB does have a wipe, but why would we get these christmas equipment which cant be acquired later? I mean I think its like that. :P

lets just all hope there isnt a wipe then alright? xD and uhm if your warrior, i say just go str and vit if anything but pure str is alright.

found out something too, sometimes when u hit, there's some chinese word. i think thats the "max dmg" thingy, idk.

but it's only after i added dex then i see the chinese word.

Like they said, they're not gonna give any prior warning about wipes. And when they state it that bluntly, you can pretty much expect a wipe. Ofcourse, theres a chance there wont be a wipe, but i expect thats a small chance.

i noticed that aswell. i got disconnected for some reason, then it started patching. i went back in game the chinese word changed to DODGE. I start to get criticals aswell but im not sure maybe its because i got my job change.
Im pritty sure they translated the chinese words to english.

How you guys see if you got a critical hit. I haven got 1 before. Does the numbers get bigger when there is a critical hit?

Dex DOES INCREASE CRIT AS WELL AS MIN/MAX DAMAGE. But your main focus should be STR as a Warrior. Don't add too much VIT/DEX... if you need extra HP, you can keep adding STR because it gives +2 HP every stat.

Those chinese letters are for misses, you didn't hit the monster the monster missed you. I thought that would be sorta easy to figure out lol.

I've boosted my Assassin with Dex. and i don't regret it.My max dmg is at 90 and my min around 60.

I'd try it but just when i turned Assassin,the server closed :(.I did kill a few mobs and all the hits i did hit critical (90).

Imagine it as the Assassin in Ragnarok,when they go Pure Crit.

You have to remeber the stat builds arnt at all the same to games like Maple Story. It has more of free based distribution system when it comes to stats. The builds can be much more diversed, so there is no harm at all in putting stats to VIT or DEX. You just have to use common sence and pick the stats right for you. That being said you obviously shouldn't put INT on stuff like warriors or assassins cuase I think thats just silly ;) lol. But yeah your safe dont worry.
