This is a dumb thread. The community in GO has been overall nice so far. There may very well be a few "11 year old asian kids with nothing better to do" on it, but it's to be expected.. this is a free mmorpg. We can't really tell you unless you try it yourself.

Thetake, do you honestly think we could give a good answer to your question? How do we know what the majority of the community is like? So far from what I myself have seen, it's a decent community. But then again, I've only talked to 3 or 4 people. The only way to see if the community suits to your liking is if you try the game out for yourself...

The community isn't bad.. not bad at all. Sometimes you may see some *** talking shit and whatnot, but most the people that play are really nice. I play on channel 3 and almost 1/3 the people I see are from here. ONRPG FTW. :D

If you are too scared to try this game then save yourself the stress and anxiety and don't try it for reasons you've stated. Anyways we could all just answer his or her or its question and say the community is generally friendly. Although I have not seen many conversations or talking at all (only emoticons lol). If you visit the GO boards and forums you will see the people who pos are generally friendly (those that are actually related to the welfare of their playing experience not the ones asking for what the fx is this game like up) and you will enjoy this game if you enjoyed maple Story as it is the cloest comparison available. Whaever you do, don't go into a game expecting it to not be fun or full of walking zombies with a big mouth. Leave it to the experiences to form your opinions about a game not pre-judgements. People I've played with in the game were really nice, barely anyone KSes me. They don't talk if unless you talk to them much though, since alot of them are busy leveling.

At times, in a map with like 3 or 4 people leveling at once, we take "spots" in the map where we stick to what enemy spawns there, so we have our own places to hunt.

The community, as I've seen, is much better than most games.

So yeah, have fun with your new forums. I don't want YOU ruining our GO community.

However, in the CB atleast a good proportion of people were interesting, friendly and good to party with. Heck, if youre a Zao fan I'm sure we would get along. If you decide to play send me a message and we can see about a party. Try messaging Trauma or Stalrath in game.
