what are good hack and slash games for the pc ?

A newer one would be Titan Quest. It's not as bad as some people say it is. You will need a decent computer for that game. An older one would be Dungeon Siege II. Came out in mid 2005, but the game doesn't look like it did. Its a pretty good Diablo 2 type game nonetheless. Speaking of Diablo 2, if you haven't played it you should. The best hack and slash RPG of all time.

Diablo 2 is good, if you haven't got it you should. And like BPMGAMER said, Titan quest is another good one. Maybe you may wanna try elder scrolls IV oblivion but you really need a good com to play it.

yeah, reminds me of the strategy involved in killing bosses from the zelda series, too many games these days just involve hitting the boss to kill it, which i find boring

Go to google and search for a game called "FATE". Basically a clone of Diablo with better graphics, but it's only 20 bucks and is hopelessy addictive.

dungeon siege II is great idd, there are mods to fix the camera issues. So that leaves a good game, xcept for the expansion pack, which isn't really worth buying. DS has been the only competitor of it's time for diablo. Anyway, i almost forgot, there are 2 hack 'n slash games close to release. The first Silverfall (ww.silverfall-game.com) and Sacred 2 (www.sacred2.com), Silverfall is already released in France( since it's from french developpers, Monte Christo) and in a week, in most other european countries. In march, the US release is set. Sacred 2, i don't really know.

and if you want a big diablo clone, try Divine Divinity. It's quite a fun game actually, also 2D/3D isometric, it's a nice experience, should you find it to buy, you'd only lose 5 dollars. At least mine only costed about 9 euro's
