Imagine how other players you PK'ed felt about losing their stuff. If you're into PK'ing, then you have to take the whole package!

Once a guy told me that his own clan PK'ed him to get his full rune! Imagine the low life of PK'ers! lol....

BTW, I played runescape for 5 months and reached level 77 total combat. I never PK'ed a player, and I got PK'ed once or twice.

Yeah, I hate the PvP system. I was a member a couple of years ago. The only PvP I did was in that arena, but they still need Free For all battles there :D

If your going to PK, dont take any more than 3 items with you (4 if your prayer is high enough).

What about skulls above your character's head? If you get one, you will lose all no matter what.

Skulls means that you're a prolific PK'er. And that you should pay the price for PK'ing people. The gamble has 2 ends. You could get rich by PK'ing or you could lose much. The choice is yours to make. .

because pvp in rs is limited to one specific place they have to make the risks hella big, thats why you lose all your stuff.

if rs was free pvp (like a bunch of other mmo games) then you wouldnt lose all your stuff when you died.

remember 90% of people in games who say they ar your friend only really say that because you can offer them something or because it suits them at the time. welcome to what i call 'the real world':p

still...that is bad luck.

I didn't really felt bad about losing my stuff.. i felt bad at being back stab.. :o .
and this is like the 4 or 5th time i went to wildee..... i didn't even know why they call me to get a skull before entering farther too.. until i read this post...
I guess this back stabber want to get all my stuff :( and they call themselves knight of Honnors... there are really alot of losers out there...

i agree .. about the low life thing... too.. i guess i should stop pking now.. i am not really the type to go pk anyway.. btw.. i brought another full rune already...i am a merchantiser.. buying full rune at the lowest price possible

oh well.... anyway.. sorry for ur friend too :(

one of the main things jagex highlight on the security section of the site is stuff like that. dont lend items they say, dont do trust trades they say... but still, peole fall into the trap again and again and again and again and again and again....

NEVER make friends in Runescape. Unlike the guy who posted up there, I never make temporary Alliances considering the game is designed to be played by yourself. Anyone who wants an alliance either wants free crap or plans to backstab you

for all you know the clan leader could be a 10 year old idiot with a sugar addiction who collects pokemon and thinks the word 'willy' is hilariously funny.

but.. isn't the purpose of online gaming is play together as a group, make friends. and have fun??.. and not teaching people to backstab, teaching people to not trust friends or make enemies????

although i might agree with u aliitle bit..... i have seen people being backstab or hacked by real life friends before.....

This clan leader is the embodiment of the lowest form of low life. Heck, I would hire 10 bounty hunters to get back at him. And I'd pay each 200,000 gold upon agreement and 800,000 upon fulfillment of the deed. Oh, and I'd be sly about it and make sure that the clan leader is gonna lose items when he dies. And I'd stand right beside him and act as if I'm gonna help him! :D

never leave these forums or i will hunt you down, tie you up, put you in a sack and drag you back to onrpg.

pking is a fun part of any mmo. trouble is, people are people, they will always look out for themselves more than anyone else... and yes, some people are evil backstabbers.

come on people how can you hate pk?

do you all want to live in a world of fluffy clouds, marshmallow trees and gumdrop houses?

pk adds PHEAR into the hearts of all players because there is a genuine risk you gonna get your *** handed to you in a basket.

dont get me wrong.. if i got pked in a game and lost hella cool items id be the first to start whining like a little whining pked newb:p

but it makes the game more exciting i think:D

Alliances are formed so they can be broken later on when you believe the person you are allied with would never attk u and then when u completely trust him (which he wants u to) you will take ur full rune into the wild and he will be 20 levels over you (but u still trust him) and he will crush u. It has happened to me a couple of times.

Meteo

I only pk aggressive pkers...most times I just scare them away... that's all...

Zelondos
06-09-2006, 12:36 PM
The easiest way to tell if some guy is going to kill you is if he asks you to fight him, you regect THEN he asks for an alliance :p

Juggernaut4190
06-09-2006, 03:04 PM
I don't do that. I see a lower level or the same level guy. and i ask him if he wants to be teams. lets say he says yeah sure. ok we all know the farthest anyone usually goes into the wildy is 10 unless they are a really high level. this is what ya gotta do. ya tell ur real teammate to wait at levle 10 wildy because ur bringing some fresh meat. lol. ur teammate has no idea what is going to happen. u get up there and see ur real teammate and say lets get him in (say that in private chat) your teammate thinking you are on his team attks first. making a skull on his head. thats when ur teammate runs a little in the wild to lure him and wam u and ur real teammate demolish the fake one. It works most of the time for me. sometimes it has its flaws but thats how i do.

Ho, this reminds me of my first pk...at level 7 i killed a level 3 for full iron(which was a lot for level 7's) and noticed the skull. I thought it was nothing, but my brother came along and "talked me out of" the iron (and it hurt). That is the first lesson in pking. You win some, and you lose some.

Juggernaut4190
06-09-2006, 08:06 PM
yeah. I know that a lot of people's brothers and sisters play like that. they act like your friend one day and they wanna help u and then they pk you in the next room. that really makes one of my friends mad when he does that.

nope heres what u do. instal a key logger on his computer when hes out doing what he does. playing with a bunch of friends or at work. make sure u hide it where only a certain combination of buttons will make it appear. then tell him u need help on runescape and tell him to log on and then whenever he goes to sleep get on his acct and drop trade all his items to a newb acct u created.(better not do it on ya main because he might check ya acct) when u get the time and when he isnt there just sell his stuff and get rich. I know what i am talking about is extremely against the rules but u gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes.
