Claws Assasins *not the one that throws stars*
---------------
Pros:
-Higher damage
-Claws look different from level to level
Cos:
-spend mp/sp pots
-spend more money
-close range
Glove Assasins
--------------
Pros:
-More range
-Save more hp pots
-Faster lvling
-Owns close range people in pvp, about 90% of the time...
-Saves more money
Cons:
-Gloves look a like...only different color
-Weaker than claw assasins
-Have to buy stars( But stars also drop from monster...a lot of them..)
Who ever says Glove assasins are more expensive than claw is WRONG~!
:hmm:

I'm a Claw sin but using gloves because I have like 10000 of arrows and it's faster to level.

Claw sin is fun because of the lv 18 skill. Hit 3 monsters from range and thats all I need to do while lving up.

Let us also discuss the ability of each type of assassin in the different features and modes of playing Go. PvE, PvP, quest, party dependability/ utility, etc.
If this is like Maple Story, then the less powerful classes early on will be much stronger later on in their respective fields of strength, be it agaisnt monsters or players (in GO).
Like any experienced player in MS knows chief bandits are much more poweful and utilized in parties than hermits. However assassins are equal if not slightly more advantageous to bandits, but star throwing rouges are much better than dagger weilding rouges. Warrior ares ksed much more often than they are as their 2nd or 3rd job and mages lose their shine to other classes in their 3rd job, unless they become a cleric in which they will still hold onto their power.

I think I have to disagree with that comment. Mainly b/c with the addition of stars, the glove sin gets a higher max attack than the claw....but the downside is (if you go pure dex) you have a hecka big damage range

Why?

Maybe because we get stars all the time and dont really have to use that much hp pots as close combat people. But damn that mp pot usage IS CRAZY. :P

40 mp for 1 ds at level 7 ><

Mp usage goes up for every 5 levels so I would suggest pumping 5 levels of ds 1st. Save 5 more points then level it up.

Thats a good idea if you don't want to waste pots on a skill that just got a little stronger, but mp usage doubles.

I just tested gloves and gloves are pretty good. Range and pretty good damage are very nice. There is a large gap from min to max attack, but it isn'tthat big of an issue. The thing I dislike in assassins in GO is the inability to do quick and sucessful jumpshots, compared to the assassins in Maple Story. It makes the assassin feel a little less like the speed and mobility an assassin should have. Other than that assassins are pretty good. I got killed easily by a taoist in pvp though. Kill other assassins (glove and claw) in pvp. As an assassin it pretty much relys on who does more damage (especially versus another assassin) unless you have skill, then moving around without being hit, but put on the hurt at the same time is pvp domination. If I know what kind of class and skills are available to assassins later on I could make a better guess on the abilities of the assassin.
