I don't care if this question has been asked before because I don't feel like looking. I know how you people are and how snippy and rude you can get.

I just bought WoW and I didn't bother buying a pre-paid card because it says that there's the first month of play included. Now I bring it home and for and I try and make an account and everything goes fine till the billing part. It asks me to put in the serial number or what ever for my pre-paid card. I don't have one. I was wondering if any of you ladies or gents knew what to do here when you first buy the thing. I don't want the obvious "go out and buy a card" even though I know some people will still say it. I want to know how to get the first month of play that's advertised without getting a card. Thank you.

yea man u still need to get a pre paid card when u buy the game if not you will still haft to put in a credit card number or sometrhing for when the1 month runs out then it goes to that so yea you should either put in the credit card number then in that month get a prepaid card and cancel the credit subscrition and u won't get charged anything and put in the prepaid thats what i did

Funny how blizzard "Forgets" to mention things like that :) but you have to do the same when you get the 10-day trial....?

Yeh, you have to have some kind of after payment just in case the 1month or the 10day free trial runs out.

Look in your lowercase cover of the game installation disk you bought, there should be a free prepaid card in it with the serial code.

I'm guessing you didn't think about that, huh?

It explains right to you that if you register an account you get 30 free days to your account, but that doesnt mean that those days are meant to try the game. Its meant to just as a thankyou lol :)
