well i understand IRC is good, but basically for this chat room it requires 1 click and your in, ive experienced problems with IRC and many other messageing programs before.

our chatroom requires Flash only, which basically everyone has. ^^

well mayb u just joined a bad irc server thats all....also i can easly make a java or flash IRC client, and u you have to do is type in nick name and click "connect" ^_^

His is like that but ok.....does it matter.

i dont want to have a fight or anything, this option is here for the members of Onrpg , it doesnt matter wheter u think IRC or whatever u think is better.

people need to stay together so this is just another way to help gain that.

delta is finally getting his lazy *** off the chair, and is now updating the cgi chat to java, and a new website is coming too :)

This is nice of you, this is faster then making an account for Irc you dont need to download anything. Its quick and easy, but most people have Irc already

ur friend posted a question. i replyed him.
and those rates u get from that thread in the general section are rather for other forums. i have supplied more information then spam on this forum. so when talking about me switch those rates around. i dont care about post counts as it's not my life, nor will be the end of my life if i lose any. i post coz i care for mmo games.

The main reason for this chat room is quite simple, i find it hard to find english people in-game on Foreign games, which is not weird ^^, but its a bit annoying sometimes.


So basically, if everything goes to plan. when you go to play your mmorpg , you login to the chat room, so if there are other people playing it , maybe u can play with them or just chat about in-game stuff.

i hope this helps everyone and keeps the community closer ^^

Chat rooms...it just won't work. You have, say 600 people online concurrently on the forum, and the chatroom [IRC, with dedicated irc server, and java applet (one can choose to connect with a client or applet] of that forum'll only have 12-20 people on there. It's a graveyard; no one talk on the chatroom, especially flash-based! This is happening to many communities that I know of, including mine.

Yeah, I prefer game specific chatrooms.
