I used GIMP to make the backgorund transparent..that's really all I use GIMP for anyway.

Yes, you should be good. I had trouble with Gimp at first too, I just had to figure out where everything was and what they did.

Did the recolouring of the slimes take a long time? O_o
Looks nice, but I would never have enough patience to make it -_-

There's a program that changes attributes, like takes value of R,G,B and switches to make stuff purple and shaded, etc.
