For the first mission besides blowing up the ships you need a certain sunspear rank (forgot which one) so pretty much do every quest you can find for sunspear points and viola.

ignore everyones comments because you've already started a mission in chabek village. and i really suggest that you get prophecies instead, i've got an extra account that you can try if you wanna try it just pm me. because prophecies is practically the basics, the tutorial for factions and nightfall to me. and there isn't a current level you need to obtain before you can get into a mission, you can just go to one, and suck, but yeah, just pm me and i can let you try my prophecies account, just don't be a bit** with it : ]

I say just do all the quests you can find, accept everyone's quests with the green exclamation marks on their head, and you should level pretty fast. Mindless grinding on mobs doesn't help in Guild Wars. Just quest, do the mission when you get to it, and you should reach max level in no time.

Hi all, new guy here :D

yes, talk to NPC's with green !'s on their heads to get quests / missions.

And unilke Prophecies, there's no "Enter Mission" button in outposts for you to know if this is a mission town or not. It's replaced with a floating green sword-and-shield icon for the Mission NPC. there may be required quests beforehand though so you might want to do all Primary Quests (per your quest log) to clear up stuff and proceed normally.

Whoa, dude, take it easy: you're level 6 and you complain about "grinding"? What would you do if you were to play WoW or FFIX, kill yourself? XD
