Now before you post anything, let's make sure we're all on the same terms with what's going on right now. And for those of you who do know what's going on, kindly skip this paragraph. No, Cabal is not going under some massive update that takes months. If my sources are reliable, Game&Game is a company that only hosts free and early beta staged games. Pretty much Game&Game is just a shopping list for other gaming companies- Game&Game hosts some games, other companies buy them if they like them. And if I am correct, ESTsoft cannot uphold and host the server by itself. So what's really going on right now is either ESTsoft or Game&Game or both are trying to find a buyer for CABAL, because they need someone to host the server. Also, when a company decides to buy a game, it looks at all versions and the popularity of each.

Given what i wrote above (or given that you already know what's going on), what do you think are the chances/odds of a company buying English CABAL? Also, it will be free to play (once again, if my sources are reliable).

Please take a stand point and give some reasons why you think that.

Well, i wouldn't think it would be too hard to find a buyer for Cabal. If they were to look at other versions, they'd probably find that Cabal's popularity is waning, which is unfortunate. I dont really know if ESTSoft was actively looking for a buyer during the CB stage, but if they weren't, they should've been. Now they must wait for a buyer to go to the next stage, and thats a severe delay. They really needed to show how popular this version the game was DURING the CB3 stage, where there were plenty of times when both channels were full. If they can show that a F2P english version of the game would go down well (and IMO it would go down very well), they could easily get a buyer, but i think that chance has passed now.

From the look of this right now, I think they will get a buyer, but probably not a quality one. Still, aslong as its not gpotato I'm happy.

EST was delaying it for the updates for the kr cabal,(the new map,mobs,blue armors etc. etc. these things will be on the EU one soon, so EST is buzy translating and getting ready to update EU cabal too...). and they were too buzy with the release of TW and CN cabal to care much about the NA/Global one...
and about popularity thing, yeah it's true that the company that wants to buy it will look at over versions. EU isnt that popular, so i duno what will the NA companys think about that...and not sure if they will even bother to look at the other versions(TW & CN are still new)... well about the KR cabal, population for that was sorta dieing too...intill recently with the new update of new items and dungeons that sorta made KR cabal jump back up to 4th place in the Korean gameing chart(they got droped down from 4th to 6th, but who knows they might drop down again in a few weeks. way too many ppl are already lvl 150 and got bored and quit lol). oh and the game holding the 1st and 2nd spot is "R2" and "GE" :p
