does anyone know any console style rpg's for the pc?
like FF 7 & FF 8
where you have a party and battle thru a menu

ive played FF 8 several times and unfortunatly FF 7 doesnt work on my pc
i get an error =[

You can probably get FFVII to work; If I recall there was a patch to get it to work with newer gfx cards or something.

As for other games the only one I can think of is Breath of Fire IV they released that for the PC; it was a pretty good game.

Grandia would be one of those.
other than that, i don't think they are a lot of turn based console style rpg's for pc.

What's the error your getting, I'm relatively good at troubleshooting FF7.

And with the right emulator, the disc/rom for the game and a good enough computer you can play just about any console RPG on the computer. :) I have no intentions of directing you how to do this, as I don't think its allowed on the forums, but now you know.

well actually it says ( i have to translate) this systemfile is not good for MS-DOS- and microsoft windows

on my little sister's comp it does work

oh, i know what your problem is. FF7 just doesn't work on windows XP, but there is an Xp patch which makes its compatible. i'll try to find and post it here.

i already found the patch
but i get that error when i try to install it
i used to have a torrent that only had the setup
with that one he did installed the game
but i cant find it anymore :(
