Hello. My name for short is just Mustang. Now for me to fully introduce myself as a person and what I do within computer graphics.
My full name is Jhon S Mustang, the name Jhon is pernounced as if you would speak the name John wich is an original more common spelt way. I am a Computer Graphics freak so to speak XD Ive workd on many personal computer generated graphics, and some for companies that require 3d product designs.
Now I am a person looking to join a group, a dedicated group, not dedicated to such something as a full time job, but as an off side, hobby type. I freelance and workf or free, a moral I hang onto is that, anything you do as a love, you should not get payment for.
I want to sample some of my work to show to you who are looking for certain skills that I have.
Please note currently I have listed with me some sites and other groups that I have tried going with and have not fully decided who I wish to become apart of. But I want to be helpfull, and be apart of something great without having to lean on the struggle of other people.
Anyways, I wish to show you all some of the stuff i have done.
Please note: The quality of my media may be reduced due to the host that it was displayed on.
Anyways.
Pictures and two short video films below display what I can do.
FILMS: These short little film videos display the power of special effects

If you want to view my whole gallary you can, I will not post a few of them, my signature is apart of it, but is already in here. My avatar is not mine, and is from prince of persia, the other image from the .com website will not be displayed as not to advertise anything in public.
I hope you enjoy, if you have ANY question at all :D please ask in here, and I can answer them.

My team, Phoenix Concepts, is working on an MMORPG. Its still in its very early stages of development (about a year of pre-production and a month of production).
The game is a post modern (Blade Runner, Robocop, Fifth Element, etc)2d isometric game. The character models and animations are going to be developed in Poser and exported as animation frames (if you have experience with this).
Also, and more likely suited to your skills, the game will also have short, 3d cinematic scenes. The scenes will be set up to look like television news broadcasts. The first of which will play the first time a player starts the game (to introduce the world and set the mood). Others will be released with each major game update (as news broadcasts to explain the continuation of the story). Finally, many locations in the game (Library, Museum, Insurance Company, etc) will have mock, in-game television commercials.
If you're interested, check out our site http://xshiftonline.com/
The site is still new and needs a lot of work, but I hope you take a look around and maybe get to know the rest of the team.
P.S. Very nice work. I especially liked the ocean video.

Those of us over at BoF Online (http://www.bofonline.org/) would love to have you on our team. We're entirely indie and have made a lot of progress in development (there is a working client for developers) but we'd like to expand our team further. A lack of models and animation is what's holding us back at the moment; we have everything set up but relatively few animated models. We're all in this (team listed below) for the fun of it, so your attitude is particularly appealing!
Here's some concept art:

Our game is being programmed from the ground up in Java.
Our current plan (though none of this has been worked on yet) is that there will be a list of videos stored on the server. When a player activates their "television" in the game, it will first create a random playlist of about 3 videos from the list of video commercials (each about 15 to 20 seconds long). It will then check if the player has viewed the most recent update video. If they haven't, it will queue that file up at the end of the playlist.
Currently, I'm unsure as to how the videos will be played (a built in video player or using the player's default media player). I'd obviously prefer the built in media player (to avoid conflicts with client computers) but we'll have to see how well that will work. If we do go with a built in player, then file types shouldn't be an issue, we'll just structure our player around the types we'll be using.
As for size, our main concern with the first release is speed, so the videos won't be top end quality. I think this will be more forgivable from a debut game from a no-name company rather than heavy lag and hiccup issues.
Hope to see you on our forums!

To be honest, as a semi-ish independent on the forums, I'd say go with BoF. I check up on the website every so often and chat with Alex S, and the project keeps progressing, nicely, I might add.
So if you're unsure about which project to join, I reccomend BoF. (Sorry Khanstruct, don't mean anything personal by this!) But by all means check out both sites. Just throwing in my little reccomendation :)

Do you even know anything about my project? No offense taken... I guess. But BoF is a RealmCrafter game!
I'm sure its nice, but everything I've played that used RC is slow and twitchy and has terribly clunky controls. I may be feeling defensive, but I seriously doubt any decent game will ever come from RC.
Still, by all means, check out both sites.
And Eriond, I'd feel better about your opinion if you took the time to learn more about X-Shift.

Actually, we made everything from scratch. :)

It's a bit insulting when my hard work is compared to a Game Maker. The client and server are both written on C++ using DirectX9, all shaders are disabled due to my card not supporting them.
No offense taken... I guess. But BoF is a RealmCrafter game!
Is this prejudice then? All 3D ORPGs are now automatically from this RealmCrafter?
Here is our editor (a bit half-assed, but gets the job done):

Yes the editor is written on C#.
User Interface (there is a problem in the texture creation, seems to be rolling back to 16bit):

ah, well then, I stand corrected.
In that case, I must say I'm impressed. The game looks pretty good...despite its RC appearance.

I see tension growing, although personal opinions can be spoken to impulsivly, I belive that its in best interest for everyone toleave there opinions as is, and to themselves. To clear alot up, bof is not realm crafted, the shaders and textures cant be used in rc current public release untill 2.0 shading like what you see in bof screens and textures wont be available like this.
Now with the two responces to my post, both are excellent games, and pride is something that should be taken in both of them, be them realm crafted or not.
Now, I would like to just say, that the devs of BOF got in contact with me first. I am interested in both with questions i have for both, but I want to explore bof as a choice of game i feel my skills could be used more on there side, I hope you would understand :-)
I am still very available for contact because i can work on many projects as once, so i amavailable for many.

In all honesty, yes, I am offended (not by you, Mustang). Regardless, I meant no offense to BoF. As I said, the game does look good, and I admitted I was wrong about the RC thing.
Either way, as I said, we won't be needing full animations for a while yet, so perhaps you'll be available when we do.

When you require me just give me a pm :D or message me on msn i have done several works before. This thread was started to find an almost full time thing for me to work on with to much free time in between work, soXD just give me a nudge in time.

Well, I apologize. I was just throwing my support for BoF. Yours is an isometric RPG, right? Whereas BoF is a 3D RPG. One isn't better than the other, but the 3D needs the models more than the isometric (where you said you only need it for cinematics), and I know that they're desperate for models. I only stated my opinion as to who needed the models more, not to which RPG was superior.
Sorry for the confusion, and Khanstruct, my official apology to you. Your game looks great, and the website is first class :)

Hey, SHUT UP. Nobody wanted your opinion.
Nah, kidding, just killing the mood. ;)

Hallo!
And finally, welcome to the team Jhon. I'm sorry about the drama, Khanstruct, and best of wishes for your game.

Thanks everyone. I'll keep working if you do ;)2
And if you guys ever do need any 2d art or splash screens, let me know. Like I said, BoF looks great and I'd love to help if you need it.
(I made all the graphics on our website)
EDIT: Here's something I threw together for you. Consider it my olive branch
