Hi guys, I've got a new idea.
As I'm not able to play the 1.6 version of CS, Im decided to bring back the old version of CS 1.5 alive with the assistance of a few other players.

As you all know, CS 1.5 is basically the free version of Counter-Strike which is a third-party mod, which can be played as long as you've got the original half-life or half-life packages.

thats bullshit.. i bought that "half-life value pack" with all the half life games inluding cs 1.5, the supposedly "free" version..

my suggestion, go out and buy CS CZ or any half life game, with a HL cd key you can download cs 1.6 for free off steam

You can load up your old HL 1.5/ CS 1.5 and player on fan made "WON2" servers.

Yeah, if you want CS 1.6 free, do not get the Half Life1 Anthalogy. I made this mistake, I bought the anthalogy so I could play CS. When I loaded up Steam, it told me I needed to pay for CS. In the end my friend gave me his Steam account and I was getting owned for hours on end.

Actually, I'm not bad. Sometimes, I'm so good I get kicked off servers for supposedly hacking/cheating, where as I don't even know how to.

The point is, do not get the Half-Life1 Anthalogy.
