So is CS free?

I'm looking for a good free FPS game to play to take a little break from WoW.

I heard it's free if you make a steam account and buy Half-life I think.

its not free unless it comes w/ another game or you download it illegally

It cost 9.95... If you can't pay this =X ...

Just spend $19.95 and get Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 Death-Match and Counter-Strike:Source..

no don't get source please! the only reason you should get that is when cs pro mod comes out then you can play source graphics w/ 1.6 game play and maps

Source Is actually really good when you get used to it... I was saying that source sucks.. Before playing it for real...
And most of 1.6 maps are on source..

If you want a good fps, skip CS and get FEAR or Americas Army. That's just my opinion tough.

First F.E.A.R. : I tried it,I did like it because of the slow-mo games,but further the game is bullshit.You just have to mindlessly rush wherever you want,but I do like the physics of that game.

America's Army : That game is just too strategic,aiming and stuff like that is not my style.

well America's Army is free...very, very, very realistic, if u wanna join the real army, i suggest this game...why? cus its the only one that makes u watch a 15 minute presentation and makes u take tests in order to gain a medical license

CS:S, CZ, Cs 1.6,....in the end they are pretty much the same thing...i personally play CS:S though

I wanna say Soldier Front but the open beta hasnt came out yet, its supposed to come out sometime this month. If u can wait a few more weeks or so then u can try it out.
