Was searching for a new game for myself and found this.

looks like a good game. It says it has a multiplayer mode aswell.
Has anyone played this game? any good?
want a good game to play, don't mind what type it is, seen this and wondered if anyone here has played it. worth it? or are their better online shooters. (with single mode aswell)

also is it B2P then free? or do you have to pay? (for the multiplayer mode i mean)

Faces of War makes Company of heroes look like horse shit.

Faces of War is pwnage I agree but company of heroes is the flashier one that people will play.

Multiplayer Example:

Round starts
Run at slightly faster speed sacraficing visabilty and control
Bum rush for the grenades
Continue running at a slightly faster speed while sounding as though you are pleasing your self
Duck, dive, roll, run until you are close enough to tag someone
Round ends

Just stop already. Just, stop. It's freaking sad to read that you actually believe that someone would fake their pc specs. Noone with the slightest bit of sanity questions facts that don't make a ****ing diffrence, like some random strangers pc specs.
Go out, get some air, and realise that even if your life isn't the greatest - the entire world is still not against you.

Company of Heroes is definitely a GOOD RTS, if you like RTS. Gears of War is also a GOOD MMOFPS. They win the awards for a reason, but that reason isn't if YOU like it or not, it is what the general population thinks.

Company of Heroes is a great RTS game. Definitely up there on my list of favorite games, and one of my favorite RTS games next to Relic's other RTS game, Warhammer40k Dawn of War. Relic in fact makes other great games besides Company of Heroes and Dawn of War like the Homeworld series (2 wasn't as great as the first, but its still good) and Impossible Creatures.

Faces of War is more tactics based, since you are given a small squad to command, a la Soldiers: Heroes of World War 2. FoW makes you focus on what you're given and really makes you make every soldier count. Company of Heroes follows a different path from Faces of War, involving capturing points for resources and control (think Battlefield series control points), managing your base, and controlling numerous squads and vehicles trying to outthink and outmanuever your opponent for these points.

Faces of War is fun but, there's not as many people online compared to Company of Heroes.

Point is, if you enjoy squad based tactics and RTS, Faces of War is for you. If you want somewhat traditional RTS with squad-battalion tactics, Company of Heroes is for you.
